Have you come up with a good flow for syncing long recordings from the rodecaster to NTSC video? I've found that the audio drifts (since its recorded for PAL) and its a pain to get it synced with my video. Thanks!
ОтветитьWow working! Thanks a lot bro
ОтветитьYou mentioned 'preloading' clips to it a couple of mins into vid.Does that mean I can load a music clip ,. Mp3 to play at a touch of a button? Such as a theme tune or sound effects of music for accompanying my guided meditation podcast.?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHey is there anyway to add or have a dump button? I had a guest recently that said somethings that I want to bleep out. How do I do that or add a marker where the curses are for later in post to bleep them?
ОтветитьI'm curious that you didn't appear to apply any processing to the final audio - like normalization, compression or limiting?
Also if you need to make an edit, how do you do it?
Thanks!
This is not a legal way but work 100%
ОтветитьGreat video!!
What software do you use to synchronize the video with the audio?
What if I have a Microsoft desktop how do I transfer it
ОтветитьHi bud thanks. Does rode caster come with software to upload auto to work on your Mac? Drivers etc.
Ответитьgreat video, but what about a video podcast setup?
ОтветитьThis video is so great. Rode needs to hire you as a spokesperson! Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWhere did you get that nice covering for the RodecasterPro? Was that incuded in your package?
Ответить2 years later - would you consider to do 2023 version ? still anchor? still mp3? share your wisdom what changed :)
ОтветитьHey Tom
- I see you have the wireless go’s in there can you let me know please how they work in
Ok nice. This is informative. Doing it this way doesn’t allow me to edit the recording though. I’ll need to look for a way to add that step.
ОтветитьSo you don't edit your podcasts?
ОтветитьThis was very helpful THANK YOU!!!!!!!
ОтветитьTom, great video! Question, what is your camera plugged into? Or was it just recording the video separately of the sound and you added it all together in post?
ОтветитьHi Tom, having watched a number of your Videos, one particular crucial piece is that you explain as part of your workflow, you save your Audio file from the Rodecaster Pro 2 to the Buzzsprout option which sets the LUFs to -16, then you simply upload it to Buzzsprout. I have tried this, but what I notice is that my Podcast Audio is still lower in volume than other popular Podcasts, including yours (I use yours as a reference loudness). I started using Adobe Audition, and took a flat WAV file out of the Rodecaster Pro 2 (instead of the Buzzsprout MP3) and then used the Match Loudness option in Audition again to -16 and it is STILL lower than all the other Podcasts out there (including yours). I must be missing something, but I am thinking it's helpful for your Audience to know why this is, as I am sure I am not the only one having this issue?! I have a music background, and use Waves LUFs meter all of the time and that always works perfectly to match my Music tracks to the loudness of everything else out there, but for Podcasts and with the guide being -16 LUFs, is there something I missing as to why my Audio is still too low? Your help is appreciated as always and I think like I say, this would be excellent information for anyone else on your Channel and this is my final step to get my Podcasts sounding right !
ОтветитьCan you explain the routing from.the DLSR to the rodecaster?
ОтветитьAmazing breakdown, thanks so much !
ОтветитьHello Tom… is it mp3 files less quality than wave when upload to Anchor? What’s the benefit of uoloading on mp3 format to Anchor? Thanks!!!!
ОтветитьHi Tom, I just need somting with good preset that can help me produce professional sound for voiceover and podcast. This is because I don't have experience to use plugins like EQ, compressor, limiter...etc. Do you think I need Rodecaster pro II, or the older one is enough? And are there any other suggestion that give me what I need and cheaper?
ОтветитьFantastic video! I know it’s several years old by now, but it still pertains to today. My uncle and I just started a podcast about Arizona basketball and decided to just start it. Enough talking about it. We don’t have amazing equipment but we are working up to it. A Rodecaster Pro 2 is in my near future. We also use Anchor
ОтветитьYour videos are awesome, new subscriber here. I've already done 50+ episodes but now I want to take it more seriously and am looking to get a set up properly to film too.
ОтветитьHi Tom, I just got a Rodecaster pro. I plugged in the Neewer headphones with 1/4" jacks into port 1 but can't hear anything. What should I be looking for to correct this?
ОтветитьRODECaster is DEF worth the $600 I paid for it... No joke and I usually regret big purchases 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ответитьwill it connect to woofers so that the sound which we speak on podmic comes directly from woofers??
Ответитьhi, can you connect a cell and record video of the podcast with the sound from the console? thx 🙏🙌
ОтветитьDo you ever have to go in and edit your podcast before you upload it?
ОтветитьI get "download error" when I try to transfer
Ответитьyour advice "just make a thing" is without responsability. I will waste a lot of money without information. before you do anything you must to do research.
Ответитьhow you recording podcast with video? is it possible to record that sound with iphone? using same tools? can you make video about it?
ОтветитьLove your video thank you. What camera are you using, lights, its a beautiful visual
ОтветитьThank you for video
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьDoes Anchor STILL do your podcasts for free?
ОтветитьVery NICE! 👍🏾
ОтветитьHey man! I can’t get audio into my headset of my guests on zoom and riverside — I can hear myself in my headphones but hear my guests through my computer speakers (iMac)… any advice as to how to get the guests in my headphones as well? Thank you
ОтветитьWhere can i get the cover for podcaster pro
ОтветитьWould this be suitable for Live podcasts done thru StreamYard?
ОтветитьGoing through older vids and I found one of you going over your mic stands. ha! Golden!
