Finally, a video to explain its possible to almost turn off the automatic braking when releasing the sticks.

As a 10 year FPV racing drone pilot, I'm just too hardwired to perform my own braking using stick movment in the opposite direction when appropriate.

The Mini 3 slamming to an aggressive stop every time the stick returns to center was driving me insane, making it impossible to fly quickly through lots of obstacles.

If you like to do fast proximity flying through things you need to build the muscle memory, and feel of the drone gliding around and not a bunch of start and stop movements which make you lose your spatial awareness if you aren't constantly moving.

Yes, I know most people are using the drone strictly as a mobile camera platform. But for those who every now and then want to do a little more FPV....turn that braking as close to off as possible and makes a huge difference.

What does it mean when everything just kind of gets white you can see the trees and you can see you know structures but the ground and the clouds and the sky and everything is just pure white heck do you know how I can fix that?

Hi Ian, I really hope you can help me. I have the mini 3 pro and the RC Controller just won't complete a firmware update. It gets to 70% and then fails. I have even tried it by connecting it to a laptop using the DJI Support 2 and it still fails. I have factory reset the controller, the first time the screen just froze showing a white screen. Fortunately, I managed to do another factory reset, but I still cannot update the firmware. The drone itself does update when connected to the laptop and using the DJI Support 2. I contacted DJI and they have asked me to return the controller, but it is brand new , only been used twice! I am hoping there is a fix rather than having to go through a return process. Hope you can help. Joogy

Very useful stuff here. But I have a problem in that every time I try to update the firmware, I get the the message to try again to connect, The controller is connected to my internet.

I’ve been watching videos about the DJI mini 3 because I’m going to order it in august and thanks for the video it looks helpful

it is different flying from the ground as I am a helicopter pilot but it is alot of fun with these drones
I believe dji is the best drone company In the world ... thanks again

i bought the pro for this. the old tripod mode was brilliant for low level cinimatic flying and i invested the more money just to get that mode here

the tripod mode is only on the pro for now what i hear tho
