as an auto detailer. im here to let everyone kno that all the stuff they sell in commercial stores like pep boys, walmart, autozone, etc, r really weak for the prices. its better to get the basics at an auto detailing shop.

I have a 23 civic sport that still has the new car smell. I want to clean & protect the dash but I don’t want anything with a smell to mask the new car smell. What would you recommend? My choice for tire shine at Walmart.......Armor All Extreme Tire Shine in the can. CLeans and leaves a nice sheen to the tire. I'm not a big fan of anything that makes a tire look like gloss paint. Looks fake to me plus just gets dirtier quicker because they leave the tire sticky.

What about getting small rust spots on roof? Do you have good remover and stop rust product?

Turtle wax has been around for decades! I would hope they know what works best. They have never let me down. Best brand for the money, for DIY purposes at home ❤

Do a video like this, but for products at Advance Auto. I just went by one myself and snagged a few Adam's products and was really surprised to see them in stock. Stuff like Iron Remover and their famous Detail Spray. I even snagged a Griot's synthetic clay pad for wayyyy less than "getting in the zone" has.

Why is all the Chemical Guys products in a case at your local Walmart? I’ve honestly haven’t seen that before in my two local Walmarts. Genuinely curious.

Hands down, Suds n2 is by far the best I've ever seen, a bit pricey but dilute it if necessary, try it, and it will be your go-to cleaner as well.

I do have a question, I have chrome hubcaps & been wanting to bring the shine back. I’ve cleaned them so their just dull. Any product I can safely use on them to bring the shine back?? Josh, I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I'm about 90% in agreement on all your recommendations.
I've found the turtle wax max power to be consistently streaky. So much so that I just don't use it at all anymore.
One thing that has really surprised me and you may want to test out: crystal gx3 plastic restorer. It's a spray which I don't love but I grabbed a can out of curiosity. Very pleasantly surprised. Really good stuff.

How do you make Suds Lab Ceramic Spray #1 when you have never used it before? I get you like the brand, does that mean anything they make you endorse? Not like you to do this....

I like Meguiar’s hybrid ceramic wax. I find that it’s easy to apply, works well, and holds up for a reasonable amount of time.
