Let's not forget, V and Urizen were both crumbling, and for both of them it was because Vergil already was before he split.
If Dante got split, his human and demon halves would both be fine. Though yeah the human half would probably be the stronger one.

D for the Demon side
& Loki for the Human side

Id say his demon side should be a towering giant, but silent and with no intentions to fight. His demon power always emerged when he had the impulse to protect something or someone he loves, and its the pure manifestation of the raw power for doing so. So thats it, pure, absolute strenght and power, but with no purpose, no reason, no love, nothing. Just a manifestation of energy with no reason to exist with nothing to protect. The energy to move on... but where?
On the other side his human side would be the manifestation of all of his insecurities, now with not a bit of power to fight back. Just a sad man with a heart of gold that lived a horrible life that wants to laugh to not worry everyone else and as a copium mechanism. It wouldnt be as physically weak as V was but at the same time you could see him even happy to finally be a full human, just like his mother was, and being happy with that idea

The only thing cooler than Dante's human side is Danielle Burigo.

You know..... I just want dlc with one or two scenarios where yhe different characters get to talk to each other. It'd be limited to Dante and Vergil and Nero and 'v' through proxy of the book he was left but im interested in more character interactions

The Urizen problem came about because Vergil's 'demon half' held on to his deeply rooted and paradoxical hatred of humans. If you separated Dante they'd probably high five and eat pizza because he never really felt that conflict.

The fact that the yamato has the ability to separate nephilim of their demonic half like Dante, Vergil, Nero, Raven, Daimon Hellstron, etc is what makes it one of the best demon hunting weapons for any hunter. (I'm using the biblical definition of nephilim, which means hybrid of human and demon.)

Say you're hunting a nephilim, but the nephilim turns out to be benevolent, doesn't harm humans, keeps to itself, but struggles with the influence of it's demon half and could go full blown monster at any time. All you have to do is use the yamato to separate the demon half from the human half, kill the demon half and the problem is solved. The nephilim gets to live it's life as a human cured of it's demonology and you got to do your job as a demon hunter and kill a monster with a badass samurai sword.

I can imagine the demon half name being ‘mîsos’ as it’s the Greek name that means ‘hatred’

as Dante hated or resented that side of himself at some point in the DMC timeline and series

(or the reason of why the devil hunts down other demons for revenge after what happened in Dante’s past with his mom being attacked so it makes sense)

Was the demon weaker because dante embraced his human side more than the demon side? Just like vergil embraced his demonic side more than the human

Urizen's name comes from a being from William Blake's poetry, one who embodies law and reason. Going off this, it's likely Dante's demon half would be known as Orc, who within Blake's poetry is Urizen's direct opposite, representing chaos and rebellion.

Effectively the Devil would be probably the most wild and destructive force the world has ever seen. A fearsome, awesome warrior seeking greater and greater foes for pure amusement.

The human side would be the most burnt out and depressed thing you've ever seen, with a very large heart.

I feel like if vergil were to actually try to separate dante , the DSD would just refuse him back into dante ( rebellion/dsd fuses man and devil which is how dante got SDT )
