My dream car as a child.

As a kid my first model car was the original viper and my obsession with this beauty started from there. Amazing to see you guys driving these beasts.

I don’t care what people say about these cars. I love it. I don’t care if they might “kill me” or are “dangerous”. I love them so much and want one so bad.

Tommy and Bobby Archer are family friends of ours, Tommy drove the Oreca Viper in the 24 Hours of LeMans and won seven straight SCCA World Challenge cups in an Eagle Talon. Whenever they had leftover parts from their race cars, they'd send them to my dad for his 92 Talon. As a kid, I had a tire swing in our front yard that was a tire from a Viper at LeMans.

I miss the Viper but I'm torn over whether I want another one. It can never be what it was, too many mandates, but is it better to let it be or make a new one that is truly an American supercar to run with the McLarens and Porsches of the world? A side note: I am now an automotive importer and last year, I imported a 1997 TVR Griffith 500. Let me tell you, it felt like a Viper, but even more unhinged. Amazing.
