I’ve been thinking lately about how to save on home utility bills. Heat and
A/C are probably the two major expenses.

Most people don’t realize that the hot air in a room collects on the ceiling, and cool air collects on the floor. A ceiling fan doesn’t help much, because it just mixes all the air.

Instead of a fan, each room should be equipped with a thin plastic air-intake on the ceiling which draws only the top inch of air. That air should then be directed down to the floor where it will rise again. That would add around five degrees of heat to the living space of the room, at almost no additional cost. For air conditioning, the air would be collected from vents on the floor, and then be directed to the ceiling.

Also, this device should be equipped with a radon gas detector. Radon is one of the primary causes of cancer.

You have to be very careful when choosing an HVAC company to deal with. There are some vile, immoral, criminal oriented HVAC technicians that can FUMIGATE a customers home by emitting hazardous, odorless, asphyxiant gases such as carbon monoxide/dioxide, sulfates etc through the high efficiency heating and cooling systems. All controlled on the criminal murdering, vile, dogs phone. They make and stage deliberate murders to look like "natural causes" such as cardiac arrest and strokes, all induced through the fumigation of the asphyxiant gases. This for the lowlife, vile, murder is a "clean" and "efficient" method to murder. And it's happening everyday. Cops know. Feds know. Lawyers know, judges too.
