Clearly this is an exploit-ey setup. Your braking points and jumping those curbs are not possible on most setups. It seems this game is more about exploits than real driving, it's kinda sad. I saw some exploits that basically had max negative tow on all four corners. Such a joke.

I’ve been trying to cut like you do but I seem to get an invalid lap time constantly!

Came to look for tips to lower lap times here, but i`ve been driving pretty much as you instructed. Alltough I dont cut that much on the 1st chicane, jumping over the kerbs seem to kill my exit speed. I think I just need laps to get more consistant. Im hovering aroun 1.30 with the default agressive setup.

Cant get under 1.36 with my M4 😢but i see why, i need to brake at 120m where you can brake at 80m, cause otherwise i see the sandbox.

Time to try other cars

I saw the track changing a lot in the last 30y.
Zolder is my hometown and i can say, after watching hundreds of hour, the second chicane(the one after the hill) is by far the hardest in real life.

Its extremely bumpy and unpredictable. The game isnt even close

Could you enable pedals overlay on the full lap replay? It would be helpful to see brake and throttle application.

great video this is the exact track I'm trying to tackle and I still haven't reached the AM time. That's a good benchmark for me to work on. Thanks.

Thx on the guides they are my go to. I love Zolder, but turn 1 makes my butt clench. Why is it so sketchy. You make it nice and smooth in vid, but near enough every car I drive if you add the remotest bit if steering lock, even off throttle, the car just has an unrecoverable moment. Did 3 x 40 mins against AI for practice last night, the amount of times that corner ***d me ,

Quick question, would switching down to 1st affect my overall lap time in any way because i am much more comfortable to go down to 1st than to 2nd and to me it seems faster but that could just be an illusion with the rotation. Love the vid btw, definitely helped me improve on both this track and monza

Great video. Finding the right car is a big way to improve times. I was on 1.35,9 with a McLaren and went down to 1.32,6 with Ferrari. After testing some setups i lapped at 1.31,3 and the biggest time boost was when i switched from my G920 to a fanatec CLS DD. The superior precision and force feedback gave me more car control and confidence and my laps went down to 1.28,1

This should help. Have gotten into acc couple days ago and was kinda stuck on zolder (my personal fav) around 1.33.5 but i'm far from cutting the chicanes that aggressively, i also seem to be a gear to low in a bunch of corners. Great stuff.

It would be really really helpfull if you also show your pedals inputs in the videos too! Please consider that.

Great guide! Just enough information to get started on working the track. Too many track guides are unnecessarily long and get too much into details. I also like that you are not giving out too specific braking points, since everybody drives and brakes in their own way/with varying skill level.

Brake half way between the red and white barrier on the first chicane, then you show a trial camera view of you breaking half the length of the barrier before the actual barrier. Wtf is it?
