What does it say about us as a species that a million of us have to watch a video to learn how to breath??? To breath? The thing that keeps us alive 24/7 over and over all the time... We are so disconnected to basic functionality that we need a YT video to teach it to us. We are in big trouble..... 😔
ОтветитьI breathed in the wrong way… i suffered 3 years of not breathing properly ..
I tried to breath in my chest whicj is in the wrong way way .. now i tried to breath in my diaphragm and it i feel better
Does this help with hourglass syndrome?
ОтветитьBut why does my neck get tight when I breathe like this? Especially at the end of the inhale. I’ve got a lot of complex issues going on in my body, neural tension, chronic pain, the list goes on….I breathed only in my chest, very shallow breathing for many many years. It always felt uncomfortable or painful after that to breathe through my belly. I’ve worked at that for a number of years now and I’m better at it than I was, but I still get tightness in my neck and even head when I breathe this way, my heart also starts pounding sometimes and sometimes I can feel like I’m getting less air in this way (like I need to go back to breathing naturally to catch my breath). It’s all very strange. My body is weird. Would love to have some answers. Also, it can be really hard to expand my stomach while sitting up, my range of motion so to speak is very limited in that way and it feels like to get a deep breath I need to then breath into my chest as well, as my stomach can barely expand in this position.
ОтветитьNever have a I ever felt as proud of myself when I realized that I was doing it naturally
ОтветитьRemember the old blond joke girl walks in and her headphones fell off and she died? When someone put on her headphones it said inhale exhale inhale exhale"? I always think about how that joke was create. Breathing focus is new for me and I realize it really helps. I never realized I held my breath alot back when I was in my teens and early 20s.....especially on weed man😅(i dont smoke anymore)Even when I learned to take deep breaths in anger management. They never told me the benefits or why. They just said to do it and I thought ok. But didn't continue to. It was only in my 30s. Now I teach it to my kids.
ОтветитьI am in menopause and have pelvic pain. In pelvic floor therapy today, I was taught this.
ОтветитьThank you so much! I am more energetic.
ОтветитьI didn't know that there were people only breathing trough the lungs. Interesting. I've been breathing trough my diaphragm my whole life. Lol
Ответитьgoing to start doing this to help with my “hourglass syndrome” as a result of sucking my stomach in for years.
ОтветитьIt’s unbelievable how much more calm I feel breathing like this. What is the cause?
ОтветитьThank you for explaining.
Now
I dont think you need to exhale from your mouth, you can just exhale from your nose.
When I breath In, my chest expands and when I exhale my stomach inflates. Plz help
ОтветитьPerfect video. Helping with post Covid symptoms and calming sympathetic nervous system (post viral POTS).
ОтветитьWhy do i keep feeling tingling and numbness after doing this exercise? Is this normal? I also got COPD too, after 2 years of stable copd, recently i keep getting easily tired (also feeling numbness and tingling after other exercise, such as bicycling or slow jogging) and sleep a lot more than usual (longest sleep of 14 hours and really hard to wake up without help of others), next appointment to my doctor is 2 weeks left, so should i go right away or wait? 2 weeks ago he only advised me to exercise more, but it's been two weeks and i still feel easily tired
ОтветитьHow many minutes should we do this a day?
ОтветитьIts easy and relaxed when i am doing exercise lying but when im trying to do it when im standing , i feel pain in my chest and i cant take a deep relaxed breathe
ОтветитьMy gym - the best in the city - and Personal Trainer there - a very competent and qualified young sportswoman - had me started with diaphragmatic (belly) breathing. However, my PT soon told me that, I should just have core and diaphragm activation and do rib cage expansion breathing. Part of this comes from my protruded (not out of local standard deviation, as I am fairly active) belly of a 55-year-old Indian.
I am a bit confused about which one is good for me.
the yogis have known this for years. I'm glad to see the medical community teaching this. It could be performed even more slowly to be fully effective
ОтветитьAt 29 I’m trying to learn how to eat (chew), walk and freaking breathe😂
