The hardest boss in the game, not counting DLC. And I still won on level 4, wooohooooo.

I just couldn't even be mad at Gehrman fighting him, his story is so tragic. At least when you beat him he can finally be at peace.

I'll never forget I was just a green thumb don't even know how I made it this far but gerhman was going supersayian 😂and I totally died from his aoe

I hope he's a lot tougher on NG+ cu I'm not happy with ho easy he was compared to final bosses from every other dark souls/fromsoft game

easiest final boss in soulsborne history, I was so dissapointed I beat Orphan and was like "OK final boss is gonna be epic" then beat this clown my 2nd try...

He legit countered your attack then proceeded to visceral attack you. This boss is the best.

First play through I chose to kill him. Second one I’m having him kill me so I can finally rest.

Only played bloodborne for the first time 2 months ago now but my god this fight is one of my Favourites and i got lucky straight away by killing the moon presence first attempt

I know this game is hard and I struggle so much with souls like games, but oh god this one intrigues me so much

Fighting gherman idk, it was a different vibe, the music is amazing and my fav theme and i couldnt even get mad even when i was killed by a bs oneshot, i said thank you with every death cause ik he actually was doing the hunter a favor and i adore it, great game

The music to this fight is just absolute perfection.

You fight in a field of of beautifully haunting asphodel flowers, it’s just you and Gehrman, slash after slash as you paint each others blood across the ground, but the Hunter prevails, freeing the First Hunter from the horrors of the dream.

ludwigs holy blade really is the single most no skill weapon in the game

Misses every dodge, neglects every parry opportunity… Gherman deserved better

Of all the final bosses I’ve seen from FROMSOFT, Gwyn, the soul of Cinder, Radagon, Nashandra, none of them ever felt this personal. For a game that fell so hard into the horror genre, instead of being this bombastic fight against some eldritch L*vecraftian beast, it’s a duel against a fellow hunter. Combined with the score I nearly cried to realize the dream was over and I had to wake up.

I’m mad that I accidentally went on ng+ because I wanted to fight him but I didn’t know accepting took in into new game

The music the respect the battle the sound effects the flowers of white representing death and beauty, masterpiece!

I beat him at lvl 71 and it was frustrating.

I never EVER ONCE seen Gehrman do a riposte before and it's almost scary to see how elegant it is. It's scary yet badass at the same time. So much effort and dedication went into this boss fight. Truly my most beloved and in fact fave game of the whole series

I can't think of a boss fight or gaming moment in general with better music. Love this fight.

Ok I will say I played bloodborne after ds3 and I didn’t enjoy it quite as much probably first game bias but Now after playing them all I will say this is my favourite final boss
