Wow, how have I missed this?! I was cruising around yt for some old PFR I listened to in the 90s and this was in the suggestion box. This is a song (unlike so much Christian music) that makes me want to play it over and over. Sorry, Christian musicians, I'm just a tough self-conscious nut to crack. I am not one to raise my hands and sway in public. This is just great music AND a message. Okay I gush. Forgive me.

How many people honestly have had thoughts and been scared to even speak them out for fear of what people might think or say.. and suffered unnecessarily within that..?? A thought doesn't define a person.. an emotion doesn't define a person.. and yet many suffer every day living in that fear and anxiety.. when a person looks upon all that's within the internet.. it's seen there's all sorts of things that have been within humanity and they aren't alone in those thoughts or feelings. Especially for "church people" it seems it's very difficult for many to be able to just speak out what they are struggling with.. until it's acknowledged how can it be started to be dealt with? The churches need to stop being so easily offended.. it doesn't help those suffering. When they can speak out honestly and ask for prayer or accountability then they can begin to work on those areas.. not with a sterness but a simple how's it going? Even if they have stumbled or gone into sin.. showing grace and a you'll be right let's pray again.. or maybe it's time to try a new strategy..just honest open fearless discussion. People may have had dreams even that concern them.. but dreams we don't have control over.. so there needn't be any shame any remember that their are thoughts that can be had that aren't our own. So why carry shame for something you know isn't normal for you to think? This is what's needed more of. Just plain honest talk and a sense of humour can help within those moments. I'm the first to admit sometimes I have foot in mouth.. only taking it out to put the other foot in.. so we can all be insensitive at times or seemingly so. I honestly don't understand people's constant fear though over the truth.. why is it so hard ?

Oh yeah and all the incest role players daddy Daughter etc may want to think a bit more carefully about the realities of how they judge others because as much as you may not want to face it in reality.. potentially there's been real victims at the hands of those you chatted with or the stories you wrote about and when you condemn the church then need to seek guidance yourself... But to the church I want them to be realistic and understand that if these people are honest about what they have done even in role play it may have been like a therapy or self understanding of what may have occurred either to themselves or someone they know. Either way both sides need to be more responsible and sensitive when dealing with such things because a horrified or disgusted outburst can do more damage than good. Even with mental health they used to have scenarios of in this situation how would you handle it.. so the role players do have a place .. it's just the needed wisdom with regards to not actually encouraging real life issues or dangers for others. I just wanted people to really think about things in a responsible way.. not to judge them but just warn and make aware of real potential threats. Once something is written down if someone is screenshotting your conversation it can be twisted to mean something very very different or be used against you in many negative ways. The same with those filming or send pics that are suggestive or just out and out sexual. That pic or vid can be resent without your knowledge and if sent to for example a child's phone to try and set you up falsely or to someone you work with or know to try and humiliate or blackmail you. I refused to even allow public humiliation to come into it for myself because it's not just about me at all.. but when others aren't honest or coming forward you become guilty by association.
