my only thoughts on this thing is 1.... hasnt the last year or so of the ukrane war shown us exactly WHY you dont ever make a carosel auto loading system like that? theres been a constant stream of footage coming from over there showing russian tanks popping constantly due to that ammo system. now 2 is kinda meh and im absolutely no tank expert but there is one thing playing warthunder has taught me for tank combat most armor can get penned and if all of your crew are in one place ESPECIALLY THE VERY FRONT OF THE TANK can easily result in 1 round killing the entire crew so why do that? why havent we implemented a system more like the isreali merkava tank where survivability of the crew is the top priority cause i have a hard time looking at the abrams x and how its designed and beliving it can survive a modern tank round apfsds or heatfs from any angle especially the front where that crew sits... one round front armor dead crew dead tank

First of all anyone who thinks investing into new technology is absolutely shortsighted. There’s a reason the US has been and will always be the strongest and most technologically advanced nation.

The T-14 is a tank with a outdated protection package! A Non Export Abrams has the up to date protection packages.

T-14 was built in 2016….Nothing has changed! No upgrades, no nothing.
2023 minus 2016 = 7 years behind….T-14s engine = a little over a century old…a Abrams X isn’t really needed, a US stationed M1A2 Abrams….has all the updated equipment.
Yes the Abrams was built decades ago….but that’s just the Hull! The Gun, Armor, Ammo, computers, are up to date, there’s Many Variances of a M1A2 Abrams, the ones sold, or lend leased = exports.

The nato countries can buy a M1A2 Abrams, but the country is tasked with adding they’re own protection packages’ suited for they’re Environment…..these tanks are called exports.

If the western nations entered the war against Russia….Russia would have to deal with Non exported Challenger 2s, Leopard 2s, and M1A2 Abrams’ the American tank crews would be more experienced ….in short, Russia would be screwed

I wonder how much AI is currently built and coded into this, and how far it will advance using that architecture. Also while we are doing these things, I hope our satellite capabilities (Go USAF and Space Force) are growing with this, and that most of all they are being protected. Having aircraft and tanks linked up for combat control and targeting info is a capability that MUST be protected as it's developed.
