It would be great if FB provided relational database, it makes thinking about Data much easier than this NoSQL, also bring Full txt search as well.

So the advantages NoSQL vs SQL is only horizontal scaling? I am talking about mobile app now. SO i am iOS dev and investigate FireStore. If i grab not all sub tree but one document or only collection of Restaurants, and then when i will get reviews i need make new request. So same i can do in SQL i do not need merge two tables i get one request every time with restID. Or in NoSQL read is much more faster then in SQL because we not search in hole table of reviews?
