This song and the song "Show must go on" really explored the group tallents: Brian's guitar, John's bass, Roger's drum and Freddie's voice and also the piano (could be Brian or Freddie played it for those years Freddie had already got ill). Beautiful and strong melody in these two songs👍

The older i get the more emotional this song becomes. To a point im scared of listening to it.

I remember the first time I heard this song when it was sang by Brian at the Freddie tribute concert.
It was a few years before we finally got to hear the Freddie version when it was included on the Made in heaven album, but that performance by Brian just made you think he was singing specifically about Freddie, even though he obviously wasn't.
I wonder if the song would have had the impact at the concert that it did if it had originally been on The Miracle as intended?

We played this song at my fathers funeral. He was the biggest Queen fan and all my childhood memories are filled with him playing Queen songs in the background. R.I.P. Dad, Im sure you and Freddie are rocking it in heaven.
