So I'm trying the casserole that steve made in one of his videos with shredded hashbrowns, onion, butter, meatballs, cream of mushrooms soup and I modified it a little for what I had. Waiting right now on results.

I would love to see Steve find a good folding bowsaw that he admires. Bowsaws are fairly amazing at shortening up medium large branches to produce substantial firewood fast. Very efficient with their large sharp teeth. A Boy Scout standby. The original steel 'teardrop' shape handle ones are not expensive. Stanley is a good brand.

Not only are these videos calming, I learn a lot from them. I’d like to one day have the courage to go camping by myself and these videos show me lots of ways to do that.

The ONLY problem I have with camping in that kind of weather is when you have to pack up soaking wet gear.

Came for the stealth camping, stayed for the cooking. Start with a solid portion of camping, add in some good cookin with a solid helping of a positive personality and you have yourself a good hearty meal of camping with Steve.

Steve’s just like the rest of us….. recipe calls for two cloves. Sprinkles in equivalent to 5 then dumps another hunk of 10 in….. “about two cloves” .

Steve may not be the best survival/camping tuber

But I would rather have him in any survival situation than even bear grills on accounting of Steve's indomitable spirit and can-do attitude. Others might get upset when things go wrong and I can only see Steve just saying "whatever" to anything that isn't a bear.
