I saw this video and went bought this tablet. I gotta say I love it as I'm immersed in Android ecosystem. My only complaint is that 128 gb memory is a bit light in 2023 for this type of a device. I wonder if anyone else who owns this feel the same.

The ease of use, integration, and setup with Apple is just too good. Plus the much better build in security is very valuable in todays cybercrime ridden hell-scape.

I bought one this week and I've been using it for few days, and I love it. I have an iPad pro 11 inch and I've tried a Google and Samsung tablets before, this one for sure stands out. Aside from not being part of the Apple echosystem, it performs very well, and reading e-books on it is easier on the eye than the iPad. They have it on discount recently so if anyone is interested this is the time to buy. One thing I didn't see in your review is it comes with an 8 GB RAM that you can expand up to 16 GB by using part of the memory. So realistically if you have enough memory you can turn it into a 16 GB RAM tablet.

The oppo pad 2 is the same thing just with a headphone jack!

I think selling the tablet with the free gift (keyboard or stylo) will be permanent. If thats the case, this is a pretty sweet deal. $410 plus tax using a student discount promo for the Pad, keyboard, and stylo? Cant get much better than that.

I think we can all agree that Apple makes reliable products consistently. I'm saying reliable because that's so much more important than "good" or "fast". But their audience, which is more like a fanbase, are extremely defensive of Apple as a company. There's massive riots over the new iPhone getting a USB-C connector because of EU laws. People are really angry over this and even "feel bad" for Apple. It's like making a UK citizen drive on the right side or telling an American to use the metric system. It's so ingrained. This brand loyalty is almost scary.

Americans are so hooked on Apple that it's incredibly silly already. OnePlus pad is NOT an Apple clone all though they certainly have snatched ( if you will) ideas from Ipad. Previous ' snatching" has been done by Apple for years and years anyways. Ipad killer? Certainly not. How could it be? It's an Android tablet.

I recently got the Xiaomi pad 6 for notes and studies. One thing i liked about it was that it had less bloatware and is good for media consumption. I feel like the apps are stretched out but it wasn't a deal breaker.

Your wrong OnePlus didn't made a tablet oppo made a oppo pad tablet in china and that hasn't released yet in the global market. oppo pad air released in global market dont confuse between oppo pad and oppo pad air they are both diffrent later then in 2023 oppo made oppo pad 2 in china oppo pad 2 changed its name, logo, ui name and released in global market as oneplus pad.

Would this thing be decent for a student? I have a full desktop PC at home, but I need something for on the go that I can take notes with and do some light work with. I'm also planning on using it for work where it would be handy to have a tablet on the fly when working with clients. I currently have a chromebook which I love because it's small and minimal and does everything I need of it. Only problem is that it's getting old and slooooooow so I'm looking to replace it.

Also another important part to mention, is that android tablets are generally speaking held to a much higher standard than apple ones simply due to you do way more stuff on android than on anything thats apple. If you were to use them for the exact same things than it would be a no contest and apple would loose on all metrics with all of their products unless they would cut down their price by atleast 25 to 50% since they are insanely overpriced.

Kind of funny that the only thing keeping apple users is apparently the iMessage and included ecosystem. As a current user of Android and iOS (I bought the ipad for facetime and imessage with my family) I prefer the Android experience because I can't tell who is on android vs ios in the messenger app thanks to Google recognizing and being inclusive to all platforms. In my opinion Apple is excluding messaging app users by making software only for their hardware. It's fine, it's what they've always done, but it creates a weird divisive situation with our silly pieces of metal and glass we always carry around with us.

I bought an iPad Pro 12.9, then a Samsung s8 ultra. Based on my experience, the s8 ultra is better in term of hardware, specs, quality. The problem with any iPad is the display ratio. Which means when you watch videos in 16/9 and most videos have this format, on an iPad you get two black bands on top and bottom of the screen, which is not great. This is the reason why I decided to buy recently the s9 ultra and not an iPad. iPads are great for office work or web browsing, but not to watch videos. I consider buying the one plus pad as I need a tablet dedicated only for note taking. Given the price of any iPad, I think this oneplus pad is a fantastic tablet.
