That's the sad thing with divorces and custody battles. Just because you and your partner didn't work out or you to stop loving each other doesn't mean you stopped loving your child.

Even if you both can't agree on who should have custody, the one thing you can both agree on is that you both love your child enough to fight to stay a part of your child's life.

It's actually pretty cruel that the producers decided to base a dance on Ashlee's custody battle for Brynn, like that's kinda f*cked up

Me: looking under Brynn's dress and thinking that she had something to rip off her dress, or she was just hulk

My favorite ALDC routine. Makes me cry every time. Maesi and Kalani and all of them are wonderful.

It’s sad because you could tell Brynn’s emotions were real, since she’s going through/went through the exact problem.

I think Brynn should be the leader of this dance, because it was her story. But at the same time I feel that Kalani is perfect for it because she looks more older and mature than Brynn.

I busted out into tears when Kalani and Brynn hugged. Its showing the real struggles of divorces or families SEPPERATIONG.

Unpopular opinion but brynns emotional execution is way better then Kendall's. She really connects with all the characters that she plays and in this dance she was absolutely amazing

What a beautiful message powerful dance. Maesi was absolutely amazing such an underrated dancer she’s incredible. Not to mention how good kalanis acting was. This piece really touched me considering how young the girls are they portrayed a mature message so well.

Honestly this dance is one of my favourite dances of the ALDC bc of so many reasons I can’t even explain the emotions we’re so good and I had tears in my eyes and I wish I was THAT good ad they are ❤

One thing about this dance, i kept getting pulled to brynn thinking she was maesi, because of the dress underneath. I love this dance, and I’ve been in theatre for many years now so this its not like i don’t know how hard it is, just felt like they could’ve put slightly more attention to the quick change. And i wish kalani and brynn had a short duet part at the end, think it would’ve tied it together even more so than it is. But seriously props to the girls on this incredible acting and performance

Maesi’s technique is beautiful, I never pay attention to that when I watch this show but she just makes me wanna stare at her perfect straight legs and pointed feet all day long

You can see the maturity the girls have gained in this dance. Most of them anyway.
