I started out by just washing cars and I spent like 10 bucks on products than each week I bought different products and start of restocking then it took me about four and a half years to build up my business when I first got into deep detailing I used like cheap products then I started to build up and started buying more the expensive things cuz I didn't have all the things that you have now and I started saving up and bought a really good carpet extractor and different expensive carpet shampoos for the vehicle and waxes and now I have over like$7,000 worth of tools equipment and products

So I’ve used a chip brush like that before, and can say just be carful. The metal piece will scratch plastic really easily. Works though, and in the spirit of this vid, a gray idea!

I love the chemical guys products but if you haven't tried it try there Diablo tire cleaner or even there claybars and clay luber work great!

Can you upload two more videos like this ? This is a budget friendly option. Which I love. Can you do like a mid range video that has a deeper clean where the there’s more of a budget. Then another like expensive option and deeper clean while still not tapping into like detailer category. I’ve seen a couple of your videos and I absolutely wish you were in my area.

I detailed cars for 28 years. My, how products have changed! I still believe in good old car wax when cleaning my own car. Have you ever had any experience with the newer ceramic coatings. Sounds like a big rip off to me, but maybe I’m wrong. I will always remember when I was a kid in the 70’s and worked for a used car dealership. We bought a car at auction and whatever had been applied to the paint on this car was nearly bionic. We had the car on the lot for a couple of months and every time I washed it, it beaded water like nobody’s business. We never detailed it in that time and it beaded water as well when I washed it for delivery as when I initially washed it to park it on the lot.

Interesting, I liked seeing how u spent the money, cause its definitely different than how I would spend the money. Biggest surprise was that u didn't get a cheap APC, cause that's the ultimate budget option. For example, I would have just saved the money on the $7 git-guard bucket, and just got a regular bucket for $3-$4 and u could buy a washmit or drying towel with the extra money.

how do you gt sun tan lotion off car interiors? Black interiors?

I thought you were gonna prob try something like purple power by the gallon and just use it everywhere based on dilution

How would you go about cleaning it if the seats aren't plastic?.....also ....when applying the wax you said a quarter drop per panel but check the label...I mean I find most labels not really helpful in terms of application .... I'm doing my neighbors car for her.... honestly this is my first time really detailing the exterior.... because I'm not looking to do this professionally, I clicked on the 50$ trail....any tips and feed back is appreciated here guy's....thank you from man to another!

I'm a shop owner too and I've found a couple of products that I really like. First I like to use RainX MultiSurface for my windows(this is the only RainX product I can endorse) it works extremely well and leaves no streaks when used properly, and my properly I mean with Waffle weave towels. I use autofiber's no streak freak towels and always was them seperately from other towels with a detergent from P&S called Rags to Riches. Wash cool/cold and air dry again seperately. If the windows are particularly grimy with off gassing, and maybe nicotine I pre wash with a damp magic eraser. Lastly another P&S product I love is Express interior cleaner. It is reasonably priced can be diluted 1:1 foams nicely with a detail brush and wipes clean easily. It also won't leave those nasty streaks if it happens to dry on the surface, smells nice too! Sane those round wood dowel handles from the wood brushes and you can Shape them into different little crevice tools with a belt sander. They can be used along with a towel to clean in cracks and creases and all kinds of hard to reach places.

The chemicals interior KIT is the best I've came across so far. Has 2012 looking brand new!!! 24 bucks at Walmart and comes with protector applicator and 3 micro towels

Boars hair brushes are really cheap and work amazing for all detailing you can get a nicely built set for under 15 bucks and you'll never use a plastic brush again 😉

I suggest if anything is at autozone or advance auto or walmart get the opposite of whatever they have, it's not all junk but most of it is.. their are great companies but the stores won't stock their products because it costs more, If your gonna get into real, and good detailing I suggest jumping online and searching actually good products that aren't diluted for the general public 😀 you'll find that most actually good chemicals cut down on the work part of detailing as they do the job for you ❤️. P.S. when washing go back and forth and not in circles and then you won't get swirl marks 🙂
