Perspective hacks are honestly hilarious because in school, my brain couldn't process the "rules" of the perspective homework, but if I was doing it without guidelines, I could guesstimate it a bit
ОтветитьAs someone who does a lot of traditional art, The lineart "trick" is kinda just... how I do it by default, so if you need to learn digital art and come from say, primarily lineart pencil work
ОтветитьI have been looking for the room perspective hack for months now!! I finally found it 😭🤚
Ответитьzamn, I feel smarter after watching this video tbh, altho I don't think I could use more than half of the tips, is good to know them and fun to watch them being used as well
ОтветитьWhy is the music so loud I can barely hear you
ОтветитьFEEET!!!! I HATE DRAWING FEEEET I DRAW TRIANGLES!! OOH MY GOSH!!
ОтветитьW lineart I dont really do it, if my sketch is insanely messy sure I do it instead of just using my sketch as my "lineart" or like I do lineart & set my sketch to a multiply layer and put it ontop of my coloring so it keeps it "alive" and just clean it up a bit if needed
yaknow?
I will 100% try the interior one!
ОтветитьInterior designs I suck at, so that tip was wonderful. But the sole hack, that's one I've been using since forever, it's helped me shape feet and shoes in a way that other art tips couldnt
ОтветитьI saw this hours ago did I just forget to reply 💀💀
ОтветитьFor the 2nd one it probably does depend on the art style... I also think it depends on how you line or how well you digitaly paint. I personally use heavy connected uncolored line art and then select around the character, invert the selection and then just fill the space witha flat color.... it gives me comfort knowing I won't color outside my lines I worked really hard to do it also gives me just a space to go back to when I'm putting my character shadows and don't want the shadows to bleed into my background
ОтветитьI think your art style is naturally fluid, because your lineart is less “planned” and more confidently drawn. I used to have very consistently stiff lineart, but I started using my sketch in the final piece and it definitely helped keep the dynamics!
ОтветитьIf you hadn't mentioned you have trouble with spatial awareness and turning things in your head, I would ever have known. I struggle with that, too, so it was heartening to see someone else with the same issue who turns out such wonderful art!
ОтветитьI like how most of the traditional artists doesn't even have to try hard for thw second one.
Like, for example i do it everytime i draw, i can't do it other way.
I personally prefer to hand paint in the color as I find it fun and more imersive feeling in my opinion, so i feel like the sketch one would work me if...I actually did lineart 😅
Edit:I tried it out and it kinda was very vibey because it made me use more brown tinted lines since Black lines would probably not work
I actually have eyebrows this close to my eyes lmao
ОтветитьWhat's interesting is that I already sorta do the second tip! I don't do lineart on another layer, I just refine my sketch by going over it with a pencil tool to create depth and different opacities on different parts of the drawing! I dont really enjoy lineart much, but the way I draw now makes it fun
ОтветитьI usually don’t have a sketch layer, I just go straight in with the drawings
ОтветитьHoly heck that floorplan hack is incredible!
ОтветитьWhat is the app?
ОтветитьWhat brush did you use for the line art in the second hack😭 I love it omg (I don't have procreate but I'm hoping to find a similar one for my app)
ОтветитьI actually love the coloring process, fill buckets feel so annoying to me, the sketch-lineart combination in one layer works so well with my art
ОтветитьThe first ones formation ☠
Ответить9 seconds in the video and I arleady laugh because of the shape the guidelines made. Im so immature lol
ОтветитьLavendertowne: it slaps
Me: ow

ОтветитьYou see, I like to do my sketch, then the lineart. When I’m done with the lineart, I color it in and don’t erase the original sketch. But I’m a traditional artist so this may only be helpful for fellow traditional artists who feel like their lineart doesn’t make the drawing come to life ☺️
ОтветитьI think it's really funny how LavenderTownes video titles are always either in all caps or completely lowercase. There is no in between. Shouting or mumbling. Also, great video as always.
ОтветитьOnly Lavender would accidentally draw in the other eyes 😂
ОтветитьOk but that floorplan hack tiktok had so much unintentional ASMR and I am all here for it
ОтветитьWhat brushes do you useee!!
ОтветитьWhat is the app that you use
Ответитьfor the second, the color layer is in different layer. note the same layer😂
ОтветитьThose arms do be noodles tho
ОтветитьI love this video, especially the perspective interior one. I wonder if it will work for exteriors?
Oh also
* crys in traditional artist*
me watching the floorplan hack as a traditional artist:
ОтветитьAnother way for interior ( and exterior) houses TikTok showed me was to use Minecraft as a way to draw the kind of houses and scenery you want in your drawings. Which helps wonders qoq
ОтветитьGood grief that perspective one... I am super duper in love!! I am really glad I saw this!! Can't wait to try it and see how it goes!!!!!!
