Hi, I like Mushy&Shroom, even it's probably not the best tank for this event. Just to say they benefit far much more from Martha or Thea as they grow with healing.

my heroes strengh by order: dante (149k red+2), iris (125k, red+2), nebula (86k, red+2), sebastien (67k, red), dorian (55k, orange+4), martha (55k, orange+2), jhu (is 32k) and orian (38k). what's the best strategy please ?

In the meantime i 1-shot the boss on 210 resistance with 17 sec left and the Lara team (i used Merlin on Orion tho). Not sure its actually viable for a 170 1-shot, maybe with buff luck from Lara. On my attempt, Lara was only 4th on dmg with 8m compared tp 13.6 by Orion, 11.6m by Aug and 10.3 from Isaac. But her healing was strong (3.5m compared to 1.1-1.7 from others just leeching off Dorian). Would be interesting to see Jhu dmg/heal stats compared to Lara.

I also used the magic damage buff instead of pure dmg. Idea is that it needs Augustus to apply Superconductivity before you do pure with this line. In practice, it happens quite fast tho and i really wonder which one buff is the better choice. Looking at replay its hard to tell if i do more magic or pure dmg ... would be really helpful if the game would actually differentiate between dmg sources.

Edit: Comparing my 210 replay with your 170 fight, it looks like you did a higher share of pure dmg than me, due to your enemies resisting more dmg and staying up longer. So it seems like the lower the resistance is, the better pure dmg buff is compared to the magic dmg buff.

As a new player it's off-putting that we can't get heroes like Lara Croft. Is the game even worth it for new players or is it only for old school folks?

I don't get it, this event is not like other Boss buff events, the point to this event is all about spending money, emeralds & energy to get enough moves to collect all the chests, that's all..

whether I defeated the boss with 170b or 200b it really made no difference, by the time you go around to collect all the chests you are already at 200b so why stress, this is a real boring goofy event like AOC designed only to rob players of there money..
