Abby's right, some people don't have hair, some people don't have eyes or the ability to hear, but these people can still be happy! But worst of all, are people who don't have consideration for the feelings of others, these people are seldom happy and rarely have friends.

Teeth or not, the joy of your face when you're playing puts a smile on mine. You couldn't be more right, while the rest of the world concerns itself with aesthetics, you're looking beautiful and bringing joy. Greetings from England. Spoon playing was popular here with working classes way back when. Ladies played them in the cotton and paper mills near to where I come from..keep bringing joy.

My son is 11, and hes already got really bad teeth, and not for a lack of brushing at home ...im talking cavities and fillings and three silver crowns and theyre all pretty crooked. Hes young enough (and honestly sheltered enough) to not have much anxiety over it, but i worry about him and his teeth alot. I worry about the cost we as the parents will have to pay for his mouth, and i worry that one day he will look in the mirror and suddenly measure his worth by his teeth or his apperence, or his behavioral issues.

Abby thanks for sharing your thots.....I too enjoy going barefooted, and I have had 7 kids and yes one after another my teeth are being lost, but I don't plan on doing teeth just to fit in.....as I age I don't care if I fit the supposed mold for what others think I should be.

I've had to have about 10 teeth taken out because of my cancer treatment. I have false teeth but I go for days at a time without any in. It doesn't define what sort of person you are. There's worse things in the world than what someone looks like. It's about what's in their hearts.
