Is it normal for remotes like this to always have the display on? My AC remote doesn't have a button to turn the remote off, just the AC. So the remote is constantly showing a number (the temperature). Does this drain battery?

Dont go for LG A/C. Trust me their cooling efficiency is damn poor. Go for much better and economical AC brands like Samsung, Haier, Llyod.. Won't regret at all.. I have made a big mistake by choosing LG 6 in 1 viraat dual invertor stupid product. 🙏🏻

LG AC is damn worse with their cooling efficiency. Please dont buy. Either go for other nice brands like Lyod, daikin, Blue star.. But dont trust LG.. Huge disappointment ..😢😢
