SO interesting. I am apparently a dramatic classic. This explains why NO item of clothing in my closet has EVER had a collar or a ruffle or a gather. If I try these clothes on I very literally feel like I am playing dress up and look ridiculous. I’m 70 now and my 30 year old daughter (who has the same features as me) feels the same. If Kibbe saw me, he would throw away all categorization and quit this job. I have a curvy body and I am short and sometimes I look taller and sometimes shorter depending on the clothes I wear. In this case, I can't tell "I'm theatrical romantic" because my face is long, my lips are thin, my cheekbones are flat and not prominent. My eyes are small. C'mon let's categorize this too!

Has anyone experienced being "drawn" to the kind of outfits /clothes which would suit their body type best (without being sure of the type)??? I was professionally typed as FG a few years ago but I simply hate that style on me! I am much more drawn to DC and could imagine wearing all the DC clothes shown in the video right away. Could u do an in depth analysis on romantics? I’m not curvy really or girly either. In fact, I’ve always hated dresses Bc I felt they weren’t comfortable and I just felt they weren’t practical Bc I like to be very active and get my hands dirty. I’m also a dark winter ingenue and my colors clash a bit Bc they’re more intense than romantic colors. Idk much about style roots but from what I’ve seen I’m more along the lines of moon and stone. I am so confused if I am soft natural or soft gamine. I am 152cm and a bit curvy yet I have a very wide shoulder and quite fleshy in that area. I wish to add a photo but was not able to in here. Please help me out!))) is that possible to be a soft gamine with long hands and long fingers( that kind of a musical type of a palm and fingers😂) and long long feet( I wear like 37, 38 size it’s about 24.5 cm, though I am only 158 cm)??? Also I have not a small nose( it is pretty and elegant, but not that kind of a dolly type), and eyes are just normal of a medium size, forehead is also normal. Ive been watching Ellie-Jean's videos for some time now and still can't figure out my body type because I'm overweight. I don't believe we are the same type at any weight. My shoulders are much rounder, for instance, because of my weight and I'm rounder in general because of the weight. But what if I were at my thinnest -- would my shoulders be more angular or would I have a more athletic shape? It's just not possible to find the correct type for overweight.

The thing is that those women on that scale almost look the same :D Some with bigger boobs or bigger tights, but not that different as it is made sound so drastic in this video :D And many silhouettes fit a lot of different bodies, but the thing is that a cm of stitching can change a whole fit, that is why custom made is the best. But these types are so overcomplicated, and yet everyone wears the same :D

Haha! But I am most comfortable in costume. When I dress in a "theme" of my own making is when I feel the best 🤣 Don't take this too seriously, ladies. It's more like guidelines than actual rules ;)

I made a test in the concept wordrobe, it was quite confusing, but I got three answers (soft natural, dramatic classic and soft gamine), from which I think the dramatic classic fits me the best, but I have 173 cm, does that mean I can't be dramatic classic?

I am still a bit unsure if I am a Soft Dramatic or a Soft Classic, and I find it a bit hard to see what are the thoughts about how to dress put on me by others, personal preferences and what are actually my lines. They both resonate with me in different ways, and I think it boils down to Soft Dramatic being how I feel like i should dress and Soft Classic being more how I want to present myself. I don’t even know if that makes sense or if there are much similarity between those two types.

Can somebody tell me which kibble type looks slimmer or smaller than it actually is? I have noticed that sales assistants always guess my size wrong and bring out the clothes one or two sizes smaller than I actually am. I tell them that it's not going to fit and they don't believe me until I put it on. It's some kind of illusion probably .

Now I understand why I hated collars on me so much in school and felt so off wearing them (and still do) as a Flamboyant Natural. And why dresses that look great on the hanger (usually curvy/sexy or structured) also didn't vibe with my body, creating a lot of disappointment in the dressing room 😅. Now I look for flowy, effortless and unstructured pieces with a wider neck line and I feel so beautiful in them! But would have never thought to look in that direction originally because I didn't want to be seen as "shapeless". Thank you so much for your helpful tips and videos!
