Crispy Pan Fried Fish

I love the simplicity of this with no egg

My fish never browns like this! What am I doing wrong please? Mine stays kind of pasty white even though I coat it with cornflour before frying. And if I leave it in the pan to brown it overcooks! Heeeelp

I did it like you said and it stuck to the pan. What am I doing wrong?

Made it w a combo of rice and wheat flour and it was amazing
