Forget that. Id go get a colleged degree before i sold my cards
ОтветитьThe market is rough right now? The market is literally the hottest it’s ever been.
ОтветитьHaving kids is the worst choice that can be made. You continue a pointless cycle that they continue for their kids. It’s always about kids and the future which negates the previous child and cycle. So you see humanity is a pathetic joke
Ответитьthe pokemon market has tripled since this video !
ОтветитьIf your trying to invest in pokemon cards or any tcg, for profit, DO NOT OPEN YOUR SEALED PRODUCT! its guaranteed to increase in value since release, but statistcally if you open them they will drop in value 95% of the time. buy at release, wait for bubbles to pop, and demand to be high, and then sell it. stellar crown set came out not too long ago, for $130 per booster box, and now its selling for $160-170 for the same booster box.
ОтветитьNah he should wait for the market to go back up because it will
ОтветитьI know someone who sold their Dragon Ball Z Cards and they go basically a small down payment on their house for it. They were sad to sell it but they were building a family so it was worth it.
Side note: Yugioh Cards aren't worth the investment as a Yugioh player you can barely make money back on opening newer stuff but older stuff is always worth a little bit especially in mint condition and if you want to fall into the scam of grading cards then you might get a bit more otherwise don't pick yugioh to try and make a quick buck, you'll end up poor.
Yugioh likeky isnt worth anything. They keep reprinting anything good.
Ответить“What’s wrong with it”
“It’s fucked”
Pay your shit off basically 😂 dude didn't even need to call. He just wanted to flex about some damn children's card game. 😂
ОтветитьHe needs to grow up & sell his childish habits!
ОтветитьId be out of debt buy selling pew-pewmon cards. But im an american. Not a commie bread line stander
ОтветитьI would keep a few of my favorite cards and sell the rest.
ОтветитьThe cards don't even know your name. Sell the cards.
ОтветитьJESUS CHRIST! YOU SPENT WHHHHAAAAATTYY ON SOME POKEMAN CARDS??.??
THEY'RE THE DEVIL!!!
- Dave Ramsey literally
He is most likely very wrong about how much his cards are worth.
People make the mistake of over estimating how much they think their stuff is worth all the time.
🤦🏻♀️
ОтветитьNo joke my bf just sold his pokemon collection and paid off 22000.00 in debt. No joke. I was amazed
ОтветитьMy mom threw out me and my brothers pokemon cards.
They would be worth at least 10k as we had a lot of originals, kept in a binder and never played with them (we didn't even know how) i do not remember most of the cards we had but I do know we had some exclusives like the mew card for watching mewtwo strikes back in theaters when it came out (had 2 of them, one for me one for my brother), Charizard, etc.
Really wish they had not been thrown away...😢
The trading cards are only worth 70,000 if you can actually sell them for 70,000. It will take a long time to sell those unless you find a whale that wants to buy them all.
ОтветитьSomeone pls tell me this was a joke or prank.
ОтветитьSold all my MTG cards for my son. It helped.
ОтветитьYep grow the F up dude.
ОтветитьHe’ll have spent 70k on it, won’t be worth that.
ОтветитьNo you're not going to make that you're not going to make lots of money selling Pokemon cards
ОтветитьThis post didnt age well 😂 markets been up
ОтветитьYugioh value is trash, fuck Konami
ОтветитьYour whole collection has to be cards that are actually worth something. If it's a modern common, you won't get much for it.
ОтветитьGeez these nerds need to get a life.
Ответитьah yes, normies: let's get rid of our own fun and get children! yipee!
fkn.. kids
Pokemon card market is insane. I got a wizards of the coast erra umbreon and espeon ex card with psa right now ones worth 8k the other just sold for 7k. And i pulled a $100 card from the newest set this morning.
ОтветитьIll never make fun of poke mon again.
ОтветитьCrazy as it seems, Pokemon cards are like stocks
ОтветитьOnly 70k in cards if he can manage to sell them😂
ОтветитьThe 40,000 is from buying cards for sure
ОтветитьHe sells all his liquid assets which includes his business to pay off debt and be poor/jobless once his kids arrive? Right. I suggest he removes the 7k in Robinhood, puts it 100% into MORE cards, sells his most expensive cards to remain in the trading business and pay his debt then scale more until the children arrive.
ОтветитьDont sell the cards if you dont change the behavior. Change your behavior with money before you take the easy route
ОтветитьMy uncle has a basement full of collector cards. From baseball, to gaming cards, and beyond that to rare rocks. Like gem stones, to sulfer, to stagtytes.
Honestly, millions of dollars in physical stuff.
Refuses to sell a thing, and complains about being broke all the time.
Can people stop collecting nonsense and start saving for their futures, please?
ОтветитьI just don't understand this Pokemon thing. Are there actually people out there who would put up 70k for some cartoon cards?
ОтветитьMy husband has a lot of collectables. His mom vehemently disapproves, but it's less than 10% of our investment portfolio, they've had a good history of returns, and he's willing to sell when our family needs the money, so sure, why not?
ОтветитьHe's just like most people in the card world and is vastly overestimating his collection based on what he spent and/or what the high end comps are. Actually selling a collection this large, once you account for selling fees and the actual sale prices being much less, he will be lucky to pay off the $40K debt.
ОтветитьI always think it’s so funny to have emotional attachment in material items. I understand you’re reliving your childhood, but you can always get them again. when having kids always put them first. Your kids didn’t ask to be here you brought them into this world. Make sure to set them up for success by getting your life in order.
ОтветитьBro probably went into debt acquiring those cards just like that other dude who went into 26k of debt and got shii cards and his wife filed for divorce on him.
ОтветитьIs that rollo?
ОтветитьNot able to pay my debt, but was able to save money up for maternity leave. About 4 months worth with some help of selling my kpop card collection.
ОтветитьMy brother's ex-wife made him sell all his Magic the Gathering cards because they were having a kid. Worst decision he ever made other than marrying her
ОтветитьIf he'd have held onto them, they'd be worth at least twice as much now.
Ответить$70k in book value is probably just enough to clear that $40k in debt. People talk about collectibles as if they’re the same as cash when in reality it will take months and thousands of dollars (auction fees, eBay fees, shipping fees, packing fees, etc) to unload those cards. It’s still a lot of money but this is basically a months-long part-time job.
ОтветитьBy rough, he means hyper inflated.
