Strolling Malba Queens New York City Most Expensive Neighborhoods

Why aren’t there more people outside walking cycling or doing other fun things and enjoying the nice wheater? No children playing outside… no families walking, nothing. It’s a saturday, half past 4! Are all American people affraid to go out and have some quality time withe friends and family? Or are they all scared to death to get some sun?

I live in Queens and agree that Malba is gorgeous. The thing is, and this video echoes it, there is no sense of people living there. Very few on the street. Everyone drives to where they want to go. You get groceries by driving to a local mall. Public transportation is light around there as well (you need to take a bus to get to any train). If you have a lot of money, want a nice place and don’t want people around you bothering you, this is a great place.

I grew up in Cresthaven Lane, very near to this place. In fact my parents still live there. I agree that it's gorgeous, exclusive, scenic etc etc. But after moving to Thailand for work where I live in a similar type of neighbourhood, but with a sense of community. People know each other, do things together, and there's a real sense of belonging, even for a farang like me and I don't miss NYC at all. Great video though.

Wow very beautiful houses but what happened to people no doubt it’s amazing place to live if you’re rich but with out people it seems deserted maybe that’s what you called quiet neighborhood
