Regardless of ranking Germany, Italy, Brazil, France, and Argentina will always be favourites in WC never let English propaganda fool you

Germany are always at their best when they have been at their worst. Countless times they have struggled to qualify for tournaments only to go on and win it. They have a tournament at home next year. Be afraid rest of Europe. Never ever underestimate Germany

Why would anyone want to support a clown team and federation, that disrespects its legends because of some stupid political incident? DFB should have protected Guendugan and Oezil when they were under fire for some non sense, the team should have supported its teammates instead of standing and looking what would happen.

Oezil literally the only guy that outassisted Messi in his prime, the guy that was a symbol for modern German society and the success after 2006 ...
I will never forget how they blamed everything on him 2018, 4 years later now they blame some LBQT accessoir...
This is why people dont care about them, they are not protecting their own just blaming whoever isnt German enough in their eyes, who is whoever didnt give them their 20 stupid Iam a German signs.

I always had the feeling that the Team lacked of mentality. Thats why many Germans see the new Manager Nagelsmann who is known for beeing a Tactic Manager, as a difficult choice. But the Assistant Coach Sandro Wagner has more emotional abilities. So the combination could work.

Comes down to players. For whatever the reason(s), the players Germany are producing aren't as good as prior generations.

There are no more Poles in German attack. With retirement of Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose, the German team lost their attacking power.

It’s a identity problem. Half of the Die Mannschaft is foreign background. No germans, no german culture. I don’t think it could work. For me it’s meaningless when you pick national players and half of them is not real germans.

One of the reasons in short: They failed because they held onto the past instead of looking to prepare for the future.
Holding onto Löw for years after he'd hit his expiry date, driven by a misinterpreted "He did so much for us, we can't let him go".

And it's the same for a lot of the playerbase and, honestly, lack of proper integration/squadbuilding as newer players came. The "old guard" was relied upon until they were no more and what remained was chaos.
Players like Neuer were held onto for way too long and their word was given too much weight to the point of them becoming a disruption.

I for one hope Germany's struggles are gonna continue for a little longer. They properly rode out the high end, they should properly ride out the low end either.

How there's not a proper world class center forward coming through in a nation with almost 90 million people and football as its number 1 sport is mindboggling, though. Like the best they have is Füllkrug, who is a quality scorer but nowhere near a world class center forward.

Germany known for its Team Effort, they don't have that superstar or stardom player in their squad but they have really solid and packed players yet they still play as a Team not as an Individual. But the transition between senior and junior players it's not that smooth especially the retirement announcement, in the other hand said by DW that Germany FA lack of individual player because they always play football as a team unlike France who has Mbappe or Coman, or maybe Brazil with Neymar. It's pretty concerning and it's unbelievable how 2014 WC winner can be stunned in just no more than 10 years period.

Is it wrong to say that there's more competition in international football. More nations have invested in their football. So it makes sense that Germany is not as strong as it was.

The lack of full-time right back and of a single "stopper" centre back is the real issue.
We've all seen France win and dominate with a constantly-good-but-never-exceptional Giroud. Füllkrug coulb be the best, even if he has no good foot, because players like him make the others work best.

german problem started when loew sticked to ageing players & year-long-injured neuer in 2018 instead of refreshed with 2017 confed cup winner squad. and just getting rot from there.

nagelsmann must be firm about senior players. mueller isnt same forwards he used to. use him in midfield or no 10 is better. dare & start give chances to adeyemi, nmecha, schade, moukoko, schlotterbeck, thiaw, bisseck, and so. cut generation. have the klinsmann 2006 & loew 2010 courage.

If Di Maria had been playing in the 2014 final. Germany wouldn’t have won - considering they thrashed Brazil 7-1 in the semis, and needed extra time to score against Argentina.

In both 2018 and 2022 World Cup Germany dominated every game, but just couldn't score the goals. especially 2018 the chances they had compared to every opponent was huge, yet they couldn't score against Mexico or South Korea. Then 2022 they lost to Japan, and then only tied against Spain , which meant their win against Costa Rica was irrelevant. Japan somehow beat both Spain and Germany through some freak late stuff (2 surprise goals on Germany , and that fraction of millimetre over goal line score on Spain. Germany truly should have been to playoffs in both those world cups.

Every top domestic division, like the Bundesliga, needs a certain amount of competition. With the monopoly that Bayern München has, there's no competiton left. It all got bought out by one team, or players left in hope for better chances. The same is happening in the Ligue 1, and almost happened around 2010 in La Liga

It's hard to believe why German football has fallen so badly like now, people living in 2017 probably wouldn't believe that German football would decline like this because at that time Germany won the Confederation Cup with a young and second-tier squad.

In an internet full of shallow football memes, fake facts, and fake player/manager quotes, thank you for making such high quality videos.
The last two videos have been very informative and objective, and it’s very important to explain how “there is no single reason to explain what has happened”, people these days tend to look for a single and basic explanation for everything when things are much more complicated than that.

The women's team is also suffering a slump, having been dumped out of the World Cup at the group stage. When I was young, they were powerhouses, having won back-to-back World Cups in the 2000s, as well as winning the Euros multiple times, but haven't enjoyed success since winning Olympic gold in 2016 (or, if you don't count that, the Euros in 2013).
