Ответитьok but lucas pleaseeeeeee aren't you a fan of eric clapton ??? for me he s the best blues player
Ответитьgreat guitar lab, you good soul
ОтветитьI'm confused. Why would you demonstrate with two fingers and then in the analysis use a classical guitar with all your left hand fingers and right hand fingerpicking? Did you play the demo or have someone's help on that?
ОтветитьGran Video !! ENHORABUENA
ОтветитьAppreciate your artistic analysis of this piece.
ОтветитьI love Django, but my favourite solo is still Ritchie Sambora's in Bon Jovi's "Dry County"
ОтветитьOf course you're wrong. Pay attention and you might learn something. It's obviously his solo on Anniversary Song with Herbert Rostaing. It almost sounds like a cutting contest between the two.
ОтветитьVangelis composed in real time.
ОтветитьSorry, no its not. not even close.
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьA very friendly approach. And very far from the “lesson givers”. Merci !
ОтветитьOne of the things I try to explain to people, is that in my videos not only am I improvising.... I have NEVER heard the song before! However, nobody cares or watches my videos so... But I can compose in "Real Time" in fact I can also sing everything that I'm playing, while I'm playing it...
ОтветитьDon't know why I ended up on this page but I'm super impressed!...Thank you
Ответитьhe didn't even have a magic blues/jazz hat either
ОтветитьDer bescheuerte Hut gehört wohl inzwischen zur
Standartausrüstung eines Rock-Kasperles und natürlich sein Flaum-Vollbarts
The amount of times i was flicked off from this video...
ОтветитьBeing a Django fan and guitar player, this video is pure gold. Great stuff!
ОтветитьSo cool
ОтветитьHow come he can play better than me with only 2 fingers?! It's not fair. 😫
Such pizzazz. Beautiful.
I’ve never enjoyed Django more. Your love and enthusiasm added so much to my experience! 💜
ОтветитьDjango Reinhardt, John Cooper Clarke. People you get just once.
Ответить2 finger
Ответитьfantastic
ОтветитьHe gave us the finger
ОтветитьUne inspiration incroyable
ОтветитьLucas, you are right on with your analysis of the Greatest Guitar Genius of All Time, Django Reinhardt. Every recording of Django is a Masterpiece. And his "power and drive" never left any doubt of who the force was in this music. Thanks for reminding the guitar world who the Guitar King really was. No one else could ever reach his genius while limited to a two finger technique. Django was "Magnificent". Great Analysis of the Greatest Solo Ever!
ОтветитьBravo! Bravo! I enjoyed your program immensely! Well done. Don't look now, but your passion is showing! ;-)
ОтветитьEvery guitarist should have mad respect for Django Reinhart. Tony Iommi would have quit guitar sfter he cut off parts of two or three fingers if Django didn't inspire him. The solo doesn't move me, though. No goosebumps. My favorites are the improvised solo by Mick Taylor on the second solo on Love in Vain off of the live album Get Yer Ya Yas Out by The Rolling Stones. Second is David Gilmour on the second solo on Comfortably Numb live from 2005 Live8 with the reunited Pink Floyd. Brilliant stuff.
ОтветитьDjango was a huge musical talent and almost certainly the greatest guitarist before the public back in the days of swing , but now there are hundreds of players who can copy him note for note . Love the transcriptions by the way .
ОтветитьI'm right ok? I'm right. Lol
ОтветитьNo argument from me. Simply sublime. I love the repetition and variation of figures, both familiar and surprising all at once.
ОтветитьI agree.
ОтветитьLucky is the one who has this teacher, yes. Articulate, reflective, persuasive, appreciative, grateful for his craft and generous to so explicitly share his love and knowledge of Django's style and technique. Thanks for sharing !
ОтветитьThanks for spreading love for Django
Ответитьhe was not the greatest soloist of all time! not even in the top 100
Ответитьi've been learning minor swing for about 10 years and still can't play it properly with 4 fingers!
ОтветитьThank you Lucas❤
ОтветитьSCHWEEEEET !
Ответитьthanks lucas, i am a flamenco fingerstyle player, sometimes i get sick of flamenco and make a trip to other interesting music.
enjoying your vlogs, the way you explain is very good, lots of teachers miss that clearness. ty lucass
Awesome Django, the real deal, the one and only. Great video, you're a boss
ОтветитьYay! Django! Thanks 😀
ОтветитьWhen it comes to Django i loose my objectivity too 👍
Btw. great explanation and recreation of the style.
Love Django all my life
ОтветитьHi Lucas! Really loved your analysis of this solo, and I completely agree with your views of it. My personal favorite solo of Django is the one on Clair de Lune, and I can’t seem to find the appreciation for it anywhere online haha..
I would love to see you do a breakdown of this as well, as I think it has a lot of similarities with I’ll See You In My Dreams, where he introduces several themes in the solo, and resolves them perfectly like a poem. I can’t be the only one who thinks that!
Greetings from Norway! Big fan.
You'd make him so glad! Wonderful!
Ответитьc’mon - limehouse blues is the best django solo!
ОтветитьI love your understanding and passion for his music he was an absolute GIANT of jazz
ОтветитьThat was a delight, watching a genius fully appreciate another genius 😊
Django was amazing but so are you !
I’m absolutely loving your videos ❤
