Well they named it right but the spelled it wrong, boat “anchor” is what that huge thing is. These days I have charging everywhere and I’d rather have the Apple for its compact convenience when I get caught on a very rare chance of running low.
ОтветитьMagsafe destroys your battery
ОтветитьI just want a battery life extender to leave on while I'm using the phone or carrying it in my pocket. It doesn't need to charge quickly or fully and it needs to be as small as possible. The little apple bank would be perfect if it was usb-c. And available in black
ОтветитьPlease do the Anker 622 MagGo 5000maH pack next
And also comparing the total charge gained using wireless vs using a USB C cable from it
My takeaway from this video is, despite all the hate it gets, Apple did a great job with their battery. It's sleek, slim, efficient and comfortable to use. It never gets hot, I can track the battery percentage on my battery widget and I've owned one since it was introduced and use it all the time. No buyers remorse here.
Ответитьwhile it's understandable that apples battery pack isn't designed for going from dead to fully charged rather it's like an extension of the phones battery, for $100 that's ridiculous
you can get a 30,000mah power bank for $30 from lesser known brands apple is such a ripoff
wasn't the whole point of qi2 that it was way more efficient and generated less heat? its seems like magsafe/qi1 is performing the same or even better
ОтветитьAin’t landscape and horizontal mean da same?
ОтветитьThe Apple battery pack got an update so it can charge 15 watts ?!😅
ОтветитьI just ordered an otterbox defender case on Amazon and am now seeing these videos. I doubt wireless charging will be an option for my iPhone. Great review btw
ОтветитьNope., Apple be very much alive
Ответитьdisappointed on the wireless charging speed
ОтветитьHere's my thing. These batteries are not designed to take a phone from zero to 100%. These are "top off" tools.
You know you're going to have a heavy use day, so you grab the battery off the charging station and throw it in your bag. As you go along for the day snap it on and top off your phone as the day proceeds.
I have one of the Anker batteries. Once I get to 50% I'll snap it on in my pocket or bag and top off my phone. By 6PM I'm still at 100% battery and that will take me the rest of the day.
Fuck all that I miss battery cases :(
ОтветитьNot worth the upgrade I got the anker before that one and it’s horrible heats up so bad and can’t even charge it enough
ОтветитьFor being religious, you guys sure love using the word kill I guess I shouldn’t be surprised
Ответитьgreat review - I was wondering how the Alogic Matrix ULTIMATE 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with 5,000mAh MagSafe Power Bank will do (states that this can do 15W fast charging)
ОтветитьWired charging is still king
Ответитьi bougt it 4 days ago
ОтветитьSo the heat builds up to a halt or slowdown around 80%. So probably it’s good to use for quick small top ups of around 20 to 40% instead of keeping it on all day.
ОтветитьI have an Apple’s battery pack and can’t say that I’m very happy with it. The technology leaves much to be desired. The main problem as you said is overheating. Maybe my IPhone 12’s battery is not ok, but when it’s above 30 degrees Celsius outside this thing just doesn’t work. After 15 minutes it overheats and the charging stops. Don’t think that I’ve got a fake battery pack, I’m sure it’s an original one. To add to this - Apple’s battery pack can hardly charge the phone when you’re using it, even not very hard. It charges really fast only when the weather is cold, frosty. Conclusion - it’s not a powerbank, it’s a battery extender designed to be worn during all day on the back of your phone.
ОтветитьWhat about if u charged the phone using the Anker battery via usb-c?
ОтветитьThis thing is a brick. I wouldn't want to attach this to the phone.
ОтветитьAnker always disappoints me. Cheap, third party, products. I hate it.
Ответить2 garbage products especially the apple one. for a $90 you can get a 25000mah unit, I just dont see the need to go wireless.
ОтветитьHere we go again with the infomercials. These guys are a joke now. Lost all credibility for selling out to companies to promote garbage products
Ответитьmain point here is that apple stopped selling theirs (until a new usb-c one comes out hopefully) so the comparison is somewhat useless
Ответить20w power input?
I’ve seen my apple battery go up to 24/26wts while charging my iPhone.
Hoping apple update this with type c.
ОтветитьQi 2 was Future Proof ,One That Manfactures Should Work With liquid cooling Vapour chamber For Beter Thermal Management For Both Mobile & Wireless Charger Vc Cooling System ,Apple & Google Pixel phones & Anker qi2 & Other Brands Should Work ,Samsung Already Started Using Vapor Chamber & Oneplus Has Dual VC Sandwiched .
ОтветитьBut which battery pack is better for an iPhone 13 mini or 12 mini?
Ответитьthis is why watt hour is a better unit than mAh
ОтветитьBut the efficiency and safety of Magsafe for your battery is unparalleled my guy!
ОтветитьThere’s no comparison here! Apple is the way to go! It can be carried in our pocket, great magnets, the battery widget is working, slim, light! This Anker is like carrying an elephant with you!!
ОтветитьNGL... i bought Anker's 622 MagGo 5,000 mAh and size bloat is a real thing. They have a folding stand which is much better.
If I want a battery pack I want it small. Any larger and I'll take a full on non-Magsafe battery pack
People make fun of the Apple battery pack for being overrated... but it fits a niche quite well. If you're running your phone until it's dead... you need a different solution. The lightweight apple battery pack is for topping up and getting you out of a bind.
I bought one but the magnet is weak. It's still good to have a backup charger. Love the display. I mostly use it for my airpods and ipad I keep in the car
ОтветитьLook at the size of that thing 😂
ОтветитьFailed product. It’s getting bigger, thicker where we should get actual 10k mah for the same size as the Apple one, that would actually be a game changer. The day I see it, it’s just another battery pack to be lost in the ocean of battery packs.
ОтветитьThanks. Just saved my some $$$$. Keep it up
ОтветитьI don’t wanna sound like im hating.
But I don’t use an external battery when my phone dies. I start using it from 30% ish or when its 50%.
Can u try charging from then on? If the 15% 7% makes any difference?
TIA
With all that power loss with wireless charging, I’ll just stick with the Anker 5000 mah Nano power bank with usb c connection, as it will charge much faster & better, with less heat, and $60.00 cheaper!
ОтветитьNot being efficient in this green world that we live in now thats surprising. I surpriced how much waste their is with this type of charging.
ОтветитьVS a MagSafe charger that came out years ago. Wow what an amazing useless comparison
ОтветитьInductive charging is convenient, but wasteful and slow. All that heat is wasted energy and results in throttling. I prefer using wired chargers.
ОтветитьWhy even compare these things? It’s not a battery extender like apple’s plus 3rd party packs get uncomfortably hot
ОтветитьThis test just showed me how inefficient and ridiculous wireless charging on the iPhone really is.
ОтветитьI have a MagSafe batt pack for a year now. It's the most disappointing iPhone accessory by Apple. Slow, heats up the phone, charges only about half an iPhone. Only good as a range extender and being relatively small and light. Definitely not worth the regular retail price. Even after discounts, it would be about the same pricing as Anker's.
ОтветитьOh no… Maybe they can fix it via firmware in a few weeks?
ОтветитьHow about with optimized charging turned on does it make a difference?
Ответить
