ОтветитьGreat to see a realistic approach.thank you
Ответитьhey great vid, what have you find to be the sweet spot price for sweaters and hoodies??? thanks a lot!!!
ОтветитьThank you for the reminder. We are not on AMOD yet, but the reminder to keep working on our business daily is great. We’ve had ups and downs and just keep going.
ОтветитьThis was an excellent video, Shimmy… thank you❤
Ответить100% facts! So good for people who are just arriving on the scene to hear this!
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьHello Shimmy, I love your videos. I have a question only if you have time. Do you have any information on PODtomatic? Thanks for any information you might have.
ОтветитьWasn't sure what this video was about - thought you where just another MBA "talking head", promoting their awful business model. But towards the end of the vid, i did get it and agree with you 100000% on "owning your POD business". Something you dont do by selling on Amazon. My advise to anyone serious about starting a POD business is to stay AWAY from Amazon. Aside from the difficulty of "getting in" and the endless amount of time to tier up and making sales (oh and having your designs ripped off), the customer service is absolutely appalling, you can put years into building up your account and in an instance - poof gone, no justification - no reason provided by Amazon (even if you have been doing everything by the book). Besides, your profit margins are negligible and the quality of products AND printing is absolute.....leaving you open to bad reviews and the spiral downward begins. Amazon is customer-centric and only cares about its bottom line. You can choose to be a drop in that ocean or put the time and effort into something that's your and will pay off handsomely at the end.
ОтветитьThank you.. this is definitely not easy. It is almost 4 AM here, I've been up all night designing and doing mockups, have to be at work by 11:30 AM... this is HARD WORK.. but fun, too, for those who enjoy being creative...... I find your videos to be super informative and inspiring too. Thank you, Shimmy!!
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьCan we make gradient effect design on redbubble teepublic ?
Is it ok ?
Thanks
Hey Shimmy. Way to be real and a motivation killer ... for those who expect this BUSINESS (yes I see this as a full time business) to be easy and passive. I appreciate that you are always open, transparent and honest. I enjoy and learn a lot from your videos. I am pretty new to POD but even though I am in full realization that this is going to be hard work, I am looking forward to tackling what challenges await. Your videos have been - and continue to be the beacon that illuminates my path to eventual success. Looking forward to the next one.
ОтветитьThank you for keeping it real!
ОтветитьAnd more importantly, AMZN will gladly delete your entire account if you publish the "wrong" thing one too many time.
Ответитьi personalls am on teir 25, but not rlly mess with it no more lol
Ответить✅️
Ответитьi imagine everytime to get accepted by amazon but don't happen..:D atleast i got a etsy store with 30 sales xD
ОтветитьI think the hardest part is digging through all the grandiose, waste of time videos to find the legitimate ones, like yourself.
ОтветитьShimmy, what are your thoughts on using Tik Tok or eBay for print on demand
ОтветитьGeting in is easy but staying in is narling. Constantly be afraid of some of your designs are getting rejected. Never knowing if a punny design is conflicting or not.
ОтветитьAmazon customers are also extremely cheap. I saw an item selling below what it cost to make, so the seller wasn’t making any profit…yet customers still complained it was too expensive.
Another problem with Amazon is you don’t have control over your return policy, which is a problem for PoD sellers who want a no return policy.
great Great GREAT video. I appreciate you talking real business and telling the truth and giving real business and creative information. And also being inspiring.!!! You're the best.!!!
ОтветитьI’m in this for the long haul, and working my butt off as a sole trader who is also her veteran husband’s carer. Have only started uploading to Etsy in the last couple weeks (still waiting to hear from Amazon), no sales yet but fingers crossed… it’s all my own artwork, to try and add on top of the art sales at markets and digital art workshops that I run locally.
Your videos have been so helpful, and have reassured me of my choices (like avoiding the Gildan 5,000 in favour of the 64,000, and designing for darker colours) and I really appreciate all that you do and share!
