Yeah, when the shutdowns hit, these two were there. Together, they can do anything.

I love the references to the different kill animations in Doom Eternal, like when the Doom Slayer shoots a sticky bomb in Wario’s mouth to stun him like you can do to Cacodemons, or when he smashes Ryu’s head into his chest and stomps Wario’s head into a bloody paste like he can do when he glory kills certain enemies.

Late to the comments, but as someone who was introduced to the Final Fantasy franchise via FFVII, and thus was emotionally scarred by Aerith's death at the hands of Sephiroth, seeing how the Doomslayer takes Sephiroth out is oddly cathartic. 😆
