I want to know the service record of this plane. Many small planes are avoiding the servicing scheduling for full engine rebuilds, there are loop holes in our aviation for maintenance especially when you can pay to avoid said maintenance. This report never stated the reason for the crash.

"Typically, a piston engine of small aircraft will have a recommended TBO (time between overhaul) of 1,500 to 2,000 hours. If the aircraft is used for commercial purposes, the TBO is mandatory." - Chapter 10 Engine maintenance and overhaul FAA.

I'm not convinced this is what happened but I am extremely curious what work was done on this craft. This is incredibly expensive to perform and takes a ton of time so many crafts skirt this procedure. Then pay for it in the end.

As a scrub tech I use to work with an excellent cardiac surgeon, very well respected and high in demand. His one rule was "no visible tats on anyone on his OR team". When I knew him well enough to ask him why, he simply said: "visible tattoos show me you are capable of big misjudgements , I can't have have you making those with a life on the line".
