I was in Lakshadweep for few days, The people there is very Frindly and caring. Even in midnight any women can walk through any street safely. What ever Dhruv explained here is TRUE , witnessed these things. If urgent going there just talk to the people they vl show wat ever admin is doing there, they captured the land from local people and collapsed whole buildings and built 5 star resort. They didn't get any compensation till the date, they had all the document for land , later they went to court but they didn't get any positive response since Lakshadweep admin and officials gave support yo them. They lost their land and the money they spend on case and judicial proceedings. They don't have money or power to continue with the case. Clear case of how autocracy is established in India. Before east India company looted India, now modi, Adani, Gujarat lobby (not everyone in Gujarat, only cruel politician and businessmen from there) looting the nation. No media gave much coverges to the issue they are facing. Before they had 10 ships for connecting land, especially Cochin and Calicut port. Now only 2 ships are functional. That too only to Cochin, now government is going to expand airport, but local people out there are not rich enough to take flight, it only help people coming to stay in their resorts. During medical emergencies they used to get helicopter assistant to goto other cities since there is only basic medical facility, before they used to get it with single approval from doctors, now they need to get multiple permissions, from doctor then collector then admin which will take minimum 2 days. By this time patient will be no more. Or patient might have suffered to the peak. They also told me, they r afraid of modi or admin coming there, since everytime they came there they only made policies and decisions that affect their life badly. Nothing useful for them. When I went there power cut was 3 to 6 hours a day. Nobody is there to solve their actual issues

The same person praful patel is the administrator of daman since 8 years, and the conditions of the local people here is worsnening day by day, term for any ias is 3years and then transferred, even mp is elected for 5 years but this "legal gunda" is still here since 8 years.... 90% of daman, diu and dnh is inclined in the removal of this person but they won't listen, the result, they lost their seat in 2024. Hoping so that our newly elected MP will succeed in removing him
