He actually has a WCA profile wgere he has pretty OK personal bests, he even has an official bld pb. Around 3 minutes. No multi bld though. I guess that's isn't impressive or exciting enough.

all the scrambles were probably the same... we saw different sides of each cube so it may look different but might be the same scramble just with a different side showing... or it could be the same scramble on each of them its just a different side on the bottom.

No respect from my side. Faking is still faking, even if it is done on a Million People Television audience. He cheatet. And that very poorly to someone in the cubing community. The reaction of the audience doesn't justify cheating. If he had done a Magic Trick, like someone else has done before, that would be a different story. But claiming to do an actual solve is no Magic Trick. He should have been disqualified.

I think there should be a spoiler alert at the beginning of this vid, highlighting the fact that his performance was no different than any magic act, where skills and deception are used to trick the audience into believing you've done something unbelievable. And explaining how it's done is a bit of a taboo in the magic community.

the t perm is pretty common in beginner blindfoled solving with the pochman method i learned to use. That being said everything else is something youll never see in real blindfolded solves lmao
