This update was terrible.

am I the only one who hasn't gotten the December 2022 update for pixel 5?

the parallax effect in bloom wallpapers doesn't work on my pixel 6, it stays static :(

I discovered that Google calendar widget was causing the lag after the last update (Pixel 6).
I removed the widget from the home screen and everything got back to normal.

great, the update started on its own, took 30 minutes and then first time booting up gets stuck on a continuous "phone is starting" loop and will not fully load. Unreal.

I'm a new subscriber but have had a Pixel 6 for over a year, in fact I am on my third Pixel 6 !! All have been replaced because I am unable to answer most incoming calls either by swiping up or hitting the green accept button. I get no response and have to wait until the call ends to find out who called and call them back. Neither Verizon nor Asurion have seen this problem before, and of course when I try to demonstrate by having them call, the phone is perfect. When I saw your video about the December Update and Patch I thought I had the answer, and for almost two days this was true. Then, about an hour ago I got a call from a friend and it started all over again. Everything else works fine. Can you give me a little help? Thanks, Loved your video!!

No "Show cough & snore activity" for my pixel 6a though it gets smoother after the update.

Why wouldn't they have some of this updates on the pixel 6 if it has a Tensor Chip?! This drives me insane about Pixel. They keep this up and I will.move to iPhlnes...

I received the security update. Does it include the new features as well?

Has anyone found battery life has improved. I've just downloaded it. Mine is pretty bad on P7P

I love my Pixel 7, the only thing I don’t like the reception issues. Reception goes out and what looks like an ! mark appears on my signal strength meter and the phone has no reception. I have to put the phone in airplane mode a lot of times to get a signal again. I wish they would fix that.

On the December update for the watch, did they fix the inaccurate calories burned?

The Google One app also got an update now it shows the VPN as free

Downloaded it last night and cannot find the cough and snore detection... I'm on pixel 6 :(

My Pixel 6a got the update last night. It was merely a 6.66MB download possibly because I was in the beta program and have always been getting the beta updates. I upgraded to the latest, now on TQ1A. Also I opted out of the beta program immediately after the update, without having to have the phone wiped out.

An interesting thing that prolly many of us won't recognise is that there is another update "hidden" in the About section. About phone> Android version> Google play system update. It was a 59 MB update

Dude I am so angling towards getting a pixel 7 based on feedback related to the phone that I have seen thusfar. I have never owned a Google pixel phone but I have definitely heard enough good things at this point to not give a shit about something like that. I was actually thinking about getting the pixel 6, but you mentioned a couple of issues that had to be addressed in that model, so I'm just going to spend a little more and get the one that is the fixed one 🤣🤣. I'm going to do some more research however, until I feel fully confident in my decision. These Damn things are pretty Damn important these days and it basically has become a part of me as a human/smart phone integration. They will probably, or should I say hopefully be able to look back at how primitive the initial joining of man and machine was. "Look at that.... They actually had to carry their communicators on the outside of their organic vessel and used a cable to connect with the mainframe and charge some type of powering requirement they called a battery ". Yes indeed we are the Fred Flintstones and Barney Rubbles of the integration of intelligence.

Any idea if this update will fix the hotspot issue - no connection with the 6P to Total Wireless.

Spatial audio is not coming til January though

I've just recently received the P7P & P7. We are just starting to set them up.
For starters, any tips on making the speakers sound better? (as they sound worse than my original Moto G from 10 years ago.
Yeah I know, I was long overdue for a new phone (LOL).

Is this update comes with 5g support in India?

Issues with the calender on pixel 6 with latest update,have to open and close it for changes to it to be made

If I have the Pixel 7 and the Pixel Buds Pro, do I need to also update the firmware for the buds for spatial audio? I updated it like a month ago...If not, does that mean that spatial audio would only work for audio using my phone? Is that the same story for Apple's spatial audio or is it a feature built in to the actual headphones? Great video as always. Thanks!

I have the Pixel 6. After the update I don't have connection with Verizon, but I do have Wi-Fi connection.

Just finished updating on my Verizon pixel 6 and do not have spatial audio toggle. ☹️
