The scene that gave birth to modern horror.
Ответитьice nine kills
ОтветитьHer eyes should have been dilated after her death.
ОтветитьHow many times did he call a blood
ОтветитьI cannot be the only one who finds it funny that she dodged that knife for like a solid minute there
ОтветитьThat’s so sad OMG
ОтветитьThe Psycho(Devil) is the one in the shower(in desire), who robbed her employer without blinking an eye. Patrick Bateman is the demon possessed one(in fear).
ОтветитьI went to the Regal cinema to see Psycho in 1960,( newly married actually! )...no one but no one had known the ending. We walked away stunned. That night I had my first nightmare which I remember to this day........I haven't had one since. This ending and 'Planet Of The Apes' were kept secret.....'Apes was a complete eye-brow raising ending, as was Psycho....PS..we are still together, 63 years later. How will you do?
ОтветитьMy sister-in-law saw Psycho in 1960 at the age of 11, to this day she won't take a shower unless someone else is in the house.
ОтветитьThere’s a famous story where a man wrote to Hitchcock: "Sir, after seeing Henri-Georges Clouzot’s 'Diabolique,' my daughter was afraid to take a bath. Now she has seen your 'Psycho' and is afraid to take a shower. What should I do with her?"
Hitchcock replied: "Send her to the dry cleaners."
The only true psycho is the one who stood under the water before it even warmed up
ОтветитьPeople back then be like ahh so scared no no no…. Gen z kids hahaha not a real story yeah right odds of that happening are slim to none
ОтветитьIt cracks me up to realize that Daniel Stern was inspired by a scream from this scene when he portrays the part of Marv freaking out when the spider is crawling on his face
ОтветитьWhere the heck is the blood? Realistically there would be a lot more blood after a stabbing like that. 😅
ОтветитьMaybe nobody knows this (or care) but this famous scene was not directed by Hitcock: he suddenly felt sick and a replacement came to direct that scene.
ОтветитьShe laid perfectly still for a long time for that last shot
ОтветитьA classic 😢😢😢
Ответитьテストの範囲で見ざる終えなくて見てる人👍
ОтветитьDoes It Reminds Of Beau Is Afraid With The Bathtub Scene?
Ответитьtroppo vicino
quanto gli fa male!!
video games
color number senza bug
And this is why I take baths😂
ОтветитьDgbnmmnk
ОтветитьI like the idea that you don't really see what he's doing to her, you only see her response and the results of what he did.
Your imagination fills in the gaps so it's 100 times more violent and scary.
The shower-scene was shot from December 17–23, 1959.
ОтветитьDoes anybody knock anymore?
ОтветитьLook how “far” we’ve come. Leigh was so terrorized by doing this that she switched to taking baths. But by today’s standards it’s a relatively tame murder scene—practically no gore, brief, and the corpse is shown with a fair amount of dignity. I’ve seen worse on reruns of old TV shows.
ОтветитьThis is one of the most iconic scenes in a movie. I remember my mom watching this movie. (And yes I did watch it with her but I don’t think I watched the full film)
ОтветитьThe trailer is a hoot! Hitchcock giving a tour of the house and the motel. He’s being very vague with the plot. He goes to cabin 1. Pulls back the shower curtain. And it’s not Janet Leigh. But the underrated Vera Miles in a wig. No matter how bad it got between Miles and Hitchcock. The trailer is just as classic as the movie itself
ОтветитьA masterpiece from beginning to end especially the shower scene everything is great from the master of suspense I don't understand how can you remake a masterpiece you got to be out your mind no one can compete with alfred Hitchcock (THE MASTER OF SUSPENSE)
ОтветитьI know this is supposed to be scary but, why is she washing with no soap?
ОтветитьOne of the legend horror scenes
ОтветитьЖуть 😬😬
ОтветитьMy grandma told a story about how she remembers Psycho. Probably the best one I’ve heard by far.
She had recently birthed my father, and she was in a shared hospital room a few days after. She was watching it on the television with another patient and it was getting very unsettling. Right around the time of this scene. Both my grandmother and the other occupant said they should turn the TV off because they couldn’t take the suspense. Not a few minutes after the monitor was silent, another patient from down the hall shrieked in horror. One can say the cry was from a new mother feeling pain or, as Grandma strongly believes, the shower scene was being watched in another room and a patient was so scared she screamed the doors of the entire hall open with her fear.
It happend to me to realize that in the contrary Case, when all People just seem to be mummified for a Person, that there could be a Relation to a Parent, or deeper Relationship, but similar to this Complex to the Person in the Shower, and might be an Indication for the Need of Therapy.
ОтветитьWhen the curtain slides open, your warm evening shower grows chilly without open windows.
ОтветитьI bet tony curtis is glad she died.
ОтветитьWhenever I take a shower I feel so clean and very refreshed
ОтветитьThe 1998 version didn't do well
ОтветитьI would dread seeing that if well produced!
ОтветитьI Don't Like it
ОтветитьWho knows how long it took them to find her- that is a shameful waste of water on any killer's behalf. 😂
ОтветитьThis scene made everyone realize how vulnerable you are in the shower.
ОтветитьYou know, Norman kinda did her a favor. Had she lived, she probably would've been on the run for the rest of her life or would've been thrown in jail if she was caught.
ОтветитьJamie Lee Curtis mom
