one of your most funiest videos out there... love the end part... cheers from Canada. LOL
ОтветитьThanks for nothing
ОтветитьCan I use my digital guitar amp as a speaker for this?
ОтветитьThese things are amazing. It’s a little hard to savvy a music ship’s owner, especially if his bread and butter are tube amps and guitars. His opinion is always going to be a little skewed. I lave amps (5150) and the like. I have an insane number of pedals (many high end) , if you gave me a two thousand dollar Marshall, Fender, H&K, Badcat, no matter. I pull out my Boss GT 100 cosm multi effect, I’m going to be a hell of a lot more versatile, and will be able to handle any gig thrown my way. Won’t happen with any of those amps alone.
ОтветитьI hate when presets have a dedicated button.
If it has a menu, and you can ignore the presets then fine.
But my little Vox Valvetronix actually has a knob for presets, when that knob could have been for a second effects selector, you couldn't have Comp AND reverb active because it was all on ONE dial.
I’m just starting to play guitar, but I like it.
This is the best real review I’ve seen, and had me laughing at the end also!!
Sounds like complete crap man 😮
ОтветитьStirring endorsement by Pete- "It's not too bad." - hmm, I was about to buy one- makes me hesitate. O.k.- done hesitating- bought it- and the 12" Headrush cab that goes with it. Down the road I'll add another 12" cab and have a stereo rig- hopefully. This my first modeler and I just want to thank a few ppl- Blackstar, for making a screaming piece of crap amp that tore up within 10 months of being bought- that's why I'm buying a modeler- because I'm sick of spending literally twice as much on a tube amp only to have it tear up. And yes- I have bi-passed the preamp tube by plugging directly into the return- still nothing. So, I tried the digital emulation on the rear which doesn't require either tube to work- it doesn't work either. Which means probably something on the board fried. Checked the fuses to- not it.
So- I sold all my pedals- accept the ones that are no longer made and can't be replaced- and made enough money to buy the HR MX5 and a nice 12" HR cab to go with it- and still have over 500 bucks left over. Yeah- I have a slight pedal problem. Hopefully having a modeler with everything already in it helps with that as well. Something tells me I'll find a way to keep using them though- I'm addicted to them.
tap tempo??
ОтветитьGeez....maybe a little less weed before you shoot the next vid? 🤭
ОтветитьI'm looking at getting one of these because I'm getting tired of carrying tube amps around and worried about them breaking. I'm looking at either the Mx5 or the headrush prime. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these and if they had any input on which is better? also how do they sound live? are they easy to navigate etc.
ОтветитьLaughed till I cried. Thanks, guys! Good for the soul. The product review was great too!
ОтветитьOut the box
ОтветитьMy experience with headrush is very positive. I find it easier to make a rig that does what I want and sound good. It’s easier for me to work with Headrush over Helix personally. The problem is those presets are meh. If you spend a few minutes, you can mold it into a great sound.
ОтветитьThe way Pete just mess around, and looking at Cap. lol
ОтветитьNot a Pete fan. Great player, but too disruptive. Shut up, already.
ОтветитьI bought headrush mx5 to pair with my strat instead of buying new telecaster 😂
ОтветитьAfter watching a few other reviews I came across yours. Your method of poking around and seeing what happened showed how easy it was to use. I kept thinking, press the three little dots at the upper right. You sold me on this unit, Thanks!
ОтветитьIf im doing gigs and looking for a "backup rig" would this be a reasonablely good option? Im stuck with all these unit's and ehats beat for the price ranges
