In Time Lapse setting, could we get a third Intervall option?
I would be a treat to set a variable Intervall, like „at least 5 sec“.
I am thinking about holy grail Timelapses, where at day time my interval should be 5 sec and when it’s getting dark, I like to shot without interval. That would be magic ❤

So happy, that Live View Composite is addressed. Looking forward to it. Having the S5, I feared I will lose this feature when picking up the S5 II.

is there a video that goes over every menu function, what it does, its intended use, etc... I just switched from canon and could really use some help to understand the stills capability of the S5II. for instance, I would like to see the exposure in the viewfinder...

Would it be possible for you to addtional show me type examples in addtion to just explaining how something works. For example, you could make a video of birds in flight or and show how certain sensitivity settings actually work as you play the video and focus on the birds etc. This would be very helpful to me. Thanks

Hello! Does the GH-6 camera have dual native ISO?

Hi Sean. This was an awesome LUMIX Live session! I have an S5 original and learned so much about really useful settings in the camera that I've never used before. I'm in Australia so watch the recording (can't watch live given the time difference) but I really appreciate your work!

Got the S5, contemplating updating to the S5IIx when it happens,
I do event photography of groups of people and catwalk shows the people are walking directly towards me,
Last one on my S5 I had a lo of shots where focus grabbed people at the sides, not the people in front, but it’s a dynamic situation with a lot of movement, so what could be the best focus method choices? People detect but restricting the area is what I tried to do

I'd like to know more about focus bracketing vs focus stacking (especially for macro). Are they the same thing? Can they be used with HiRes mode? Thanks in advance.

In regards Landscape photography I still hope that we will see a S1R successor. 24MP is plenty, but for photography 47MP or similar is really sweet. On the other side my wishlist is quite short: The new AF system, 10FPS CAF (mech shutter) and Live Compositing (and the new LUT features). I keep fingers crossed, in worst case I hope Leica will build a more photo centric SL3.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for acknowledging that still photographers still exist. I believe that manufacturers are making a mistake in going “all in” on video and ignoring still photography.

I use my Lumix cameras for wildlife, particularly birds, so would be interested in your thoughts on setting up and using the S5 Mark II for birds and other wildlife. Sigma has now made this practical for L-mount with their DG DN telephoto lenses, but there isn't a lot of information available about using the S cameras for wildlife. I have both the S5 Mark II and the GH6.

The S5II will be my first full frame camera as I have previously used GH4, GH5 and GH6 cameras where it is easier to get a deeper depth of field with MFT. What I would like to know is how to take macro photography with the S5II, specifically with moving subjects and what autofocus settings would be good to use for moving insects? I do scientific studies of insects such as butterflies, beetles and bees and need to take photos of them for my research. I have a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN macro lens and I am getting the new Panasonic 14-28mm macro which I know you have to get close to the subject at 28mm for the half macro.

While not photography, I would also like to know how to take macro videos where there is a deeper depth of field without noticeable diffraction at macro and near/half macro distances as I would like to take videos of insects and techniques like photo stacking to get more of the subject in sharp focus, don't apply to video. Would autofocus settings be the same in photo and video for this?

What about the TTL? Work very slow with these preflashes, other manufactories don't have such a problem? Slow down the burst rate and stop tracking subjects while trying to preflash... Auto ISO always keeps low 100-200 when put on the flash, and the speed goes to 1/60-80 instead of my min shutter speed being set to 250 for example in A mode.

@lumixUSA. How long do you have to get the platinum. Do I cover accidental damage. Want to know if it’s better than the Allstate extended warranty.

I would like to see an in-depth view on the hand held and tripod high res of the GH6. How much better is tripod-mode? How it is handling moving objects? How much they improve details? How long it takes exactly. Is it also improving low light capabilities?
I used it hand held for a couple of city-scapes and I'm impressed how it handles moving people and cars. It would help to know more about how it exactly works.

About those topics we could suggest, those are general topics including overreaching tech and things like that, or did you have in mind a more detailed explanation/overview of features in current cameras? And if so, are those camera functions (i.e. what we see in the menus) or also hardware/in-camera behind the scenes?

I'm considering adding an S5II and am hoping that it will function reasonably well as a (pseudo) 'sports camera' shooting in the high speed electronic shutter mode. I'd like to see a dual demonstration of how effectively the new 'rolling shutter correction' feature and the new hybrid PD AF system (in human detection mode) in the S5II perform in this application; fast paced, sporadic changes of direction with multiple human subjects in frame. Please demonstrate this in your upcoming pre-recorded feature demo video. Thanks.
