Based on my research (thanks google hahaha), according to the Singer-Songwriter Mark Carpio, this song is actually a religious song. He said it is actually about God. He revealed that the love song is tribute to the Creator and chronicles man's relationship with Him that is bridged through prayer.

“[That’s why] ‘Ito ay isang dalangin’ [is because] you’re talking to him [and asking] ‘Why is all of this happening?’ [when in fact] ikaw yung immature [and] you don’t know what to do.
