Martial arts that John Wick uses: 1. BJJ (griund submmitions, 2. Judo (throws), 3. Sambo (grappling), 4. Aikido (wrist locks), 5. Silat (knife tecniques), 6. Ninjutsu (stelth takedowns), 7. Kraw maga (firearms manipulations).
Ответитьwhere is part twooooooooooooooooooooooo
ОтветитьThat was awesome!
ОтветитьSeoi nage, yoko guruma, kotegaeshi,Makikomi are his favorite moves
ОтветитьAikido judo and some BJ very nice
ОтветитьIs Like Dancing
ОтветитьJohn has made an advancement
[throw 100+ Mobs]
maaaaaaaaaaaaaan thank u for this! really <3
ОтветитьThe moves he named as « gokyo » were actually « nikkyo » moves
ОтветитьIt's so much nicer seeing the possibilities of Aikido or Aiki-jujitsu in John Wick than a version of Aikido from sensei Segal.
Ответитьlol so essentially John wick proves aikido works.
ОтветитьOklagnomie checking in.
Love it. I need to hear him w/ some proper drum medicine.
Excelente vídeo! Alinhou bem os movimentos do filme as técnicas treinadas no Dojo. Muito obrigado
ОтветитьHas any body heard of Karate - Jjitsu? There is a school in my hometown of Las Vegas I’m thinking about training at. At the school it saids the instructor teaches BJJ and karate - jitsu. Just seeing if anybody has any knowledge on that.
ОтветитьPeople ask me what my martial art is i say watch john wick as its Jujutsu as iv done those techniques in ninjutsu/jujutsu & ninjutsu/aikido/hapkido/judo/bjj etc all from jujutsu but see no bjj groundwork in films only jujutsu/ninjutsu/hapkido groundwork as they get up from floor/pin attacker down from above as battlefield arts rather than stay on ground bjj. All arts i mentioned are affective & great.
ОтветитьRemarkable to see just how many techniques look like they’re from karate katas - even the basic ones like Heian Yondan! This has certainly made me want to learn grappling to deepen my karate! :)
ОтветитьAikijutsu.......
ОтветитьExcellent! Please bring part 2!
Ответитьaikijujutsu, hapkido(korean name) is all the others, the source of all the other you mention-aikido, judo, - so they are all aikijujutsu/happkido
ОтветитьWhere's the nunchuck techniques?
ОтветитьAwesome vid 👍🏼
ОтветитьExcellent break down.
Ответитьaction from 1990
Ответитьmaybe russians think its cool..
Ответитьthere are no techiques for john wick, they dont even work in the movie
ОтветитьTHANK you for covering OTHER than Brazilian 69ing! People act like BJJ and Maui Thai are the end all be all just bc a SPORT has their RULES set in a way that favors them.
ОтветитьJohn loves doing the Shoulder throw alot.
ОтветитьAIKIJUJUTSU (AIKIDO.JUDO,SAMBO) + Korean M.Arts = HAPKIDO
= )))
Good techniques martial arts
Ответитьsomething I haven't understand about these throws is that some move looks like it supposed to break/dislocate their joint instead of throwing them. is it really the force throwing them flying or they just instinctively follow the direction of the force to save their joints?
also the music is unusually chill for this kind of content lol.
Excellent.😎👍🏾
ОтветитьI think the Wick films are remarkable for their emphasis on throws and grappling. The vast majority of cinematic fights I’ve seen pre-Wick are overwhelmingly focused on punching, kicking, and other forms of striking.
Ответить🙋♂️🤔💬💬🐣 most important technique.. 🤔🤔💬💬💭 compliant stuntmen 😳🙄🙄🤷♂️🤷♂️😀😀
ОтветитьInteresting and worthwhile video.
ОтветитьI’m always out the second I see people with masks and gloves they think will protect them from the covid boogie man
ОтветитьAwesome thanks🥝🇳🇿😎
ОтветитьLove this video! Definitely makes me want to up my ground game. My striking and "gun/pistol-fu" is fairly on point, but my ground game is fucking horrible. Mainly due to having rheumatoid arthritis and fibromayalgia that developed in my 20s on top of boxing injuries, but stand-up throws and holds I can do fairly well. I'm mostly confident in my abilities as a striker, knife fighting techniques, primarily fma and pistols + shotguns. Outside of that im really quite useless haha :P
ОтветитьI want to see more martial arts fighting illustrations in movies . Here on this channel .
ОтветитьCant believe Keanu Reeves could do all those moves in all the John Wick movies from part 1-4
Awesome . He's a natural. John wick according to fhs storyline is from Belarus who knows how to speak Russian as well as various languages and is skilled in Sambo, Aikido, Judo, BJJ( I believe) , Ninjutsu, Kenjitsu and Gun Kata. Also there's a likelihood that Aikijitsu is involved . Keanu inspired more influence for the love of martial arts
"Aikido and Aikijujutsu" hahhahahahahahahahhahahahahhaha
ОтветитьIt's not aikido it's Juta jutsu, old school ju,jitsu! he trained with the Koga Ryu in Japan!
ОтветитьOutstanding work! I love how we can see the actors and stunt workers breaking it down sequentially first, then we can see the genuine connections to center that the Aikidoka and Judoka are doing. You did some exhaustive research and brought very diverse film examples. I noticed you used a lot of Seagal-shihan and Reynosa-shihan and their students and I was VERY impressed to see you’d planted lots of Hiroshi Isoyama-shihan clips in there! When people talk crap about Aikido, I literally show them Lenny Sly or Isoyama. Now I can just show them this! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьAh yes, shooting while driving; classic martial arts.
ОтветитьPoetry in motion...
ОтветитьHere's the problem I have with John Wick's martial arts styles, you have the obvious Aikido, Judo, BJJ but he's Belarusian and in the third film, the boys are practicing Sambo, but Wick doesn't use any Sambo techniques. I don't get it. Maybe I'm messing something.
