To get any accuracy you have to measure the same shot at the same time on all devices
ОтветитьIf you're looking for improvement the stats need to have a tolerance much closer than these toys give. 5 yds on an iron carry distance is massive when hitting a PW. Even a 7 iron as carry distance is the key number. Tolerance on a driver can be wider of course but like 8 iron down 5 yds is too much. Ok, I'm making an assumption you're able to hit relatively consistent distances with your clubs. if not then 5 yds tolerance won't matter. And if tolerance gap doesn't matter why buy one of these launch monitors in the first place. lol
ОтветитьRaise the mevo a couple of inches off the ground for more accurate readings.
ОтветитьWere you using RCT balls?!
ОтветитьI’m confused. You had a review that showed the Mevo only being off by about .1 or .2 yards on several iron shots. How did this change so drastically?
ОтветитьI feel like you should have hit 5-10 shots with each club on each device to get a Better average. Last video the iron on the Mevo was only 1 yard off each time so I feel like it got the short end of the stick.
ОтветитьSo what's the benefit of the 50k setup? Seemed like the cheap units are just as good. Within 5 yards of it is pretty Damn good if you ask me.
ОтветитьI read that the Mevo cannot use E6 connect. How did you connect yours?
ОтветитьInteresting how different they are
ОтветитьThanks for posting. The Mevo has an indoor mode. If left on outdoor mode it will be less accurate. Which I think is what is happening here. Outdoor mode is for use at the actual driving range or golf course and indoor mode is for nets and screens.
ОтветитьThanks for the sim videos - do you have any thoughts as to why the mevo seemed to be off by so much in this video, but in your other comparison videos its much closer to the sim?? Surprised me since it all appears to be in the same controlled environment.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I’m currently looking for a launch monitor, so I appreciate the detailed report!
ОтветитьI’ve tried the r10 from my friend and love the results. Really want to see it go against the MLM2
ОтветитьR10 looks to be a much more accurate unit based on your findings. Definitely worth an extra $100.
Ответитьidk what simulator/launch monitor that is connected to E6, but i can't imagine it's very accurate. one of your drives showed a 77mph clubhead speed and the ball carried 230
ОтветитьNoticed your other review on the mevo. Any reason why the mevo seemed so off in this test, but was so accurate in your previous review?
ОтветитьI have the r10 I think it's great, the club path/face angles and attack launch angles really accurate and I would agree within 5 yards on driver yardage. Great fun.
ОтветитьYou’re assuming the simulator is accurate because it costs more. I’ve got friends who experience the same thing with a sim here in town but they think the lower number on my skytrak is actually closer to
Their real
Distances
The R10 is such a great little launch monitor
ОтветитьI notice you paced out "feet" but unless your shoes are actually 12 inches long isn't better to use a tape measure to set the distance and THEN pace it out to add a bit more accuracy to your set-up?
ОтветитьThe simulator likely has similar accuracy to either of these devices. Tbh, the simulator numbers look inflated based on the comparison with the R10 and Mevo which are both shorter. To properly benchmark for accuracy, you need to test against TrackMan or GC Quad, which are the industry standard devices.
ОтветитьI bought an R10 about 6 months ago and I love it. It’s super easy to set up. Works great for me at home using a net on my patio and works great at the range. The golf simulator function is a sweet plus. Would definitely recommend if my opinion as an average Joe is worth anything lol.
ОтветитьDo this again but use the rct balls
ОтветитьYour conclusion does not match up with your silly title.
The back spin is 1000rpm out
The clubhead speed is also way off.
Make's this Mevo unit totally useless for training with.
With all the devices being radar based, is it fair to say some of the numbers maybe be off due to interference?
ОтветитьWill have to look into one of these.
ОтветитьDoes the Garmin come with at least one free course? I'm not into the subscription model
ОтветитьFor me right now the decision is between the R10 and the Rapsodo.
ОтветитьGet your driving game up. Do you tee off from the ladies tees😎
Ответить"50 thousand dollar simulator"
What is the simulator? What is the launch monitor? What software is it using? Foresight has been known to overplay the driver numbers, where trackman calculates spin rate.
The awesome golf app is even more accurate, great that golf simulators are now within reach of the average golfer
ОтветитьI enjoy the video and your others as I'm looking to buy an R10. I have to admit. After some quick research, it looks like the club speed to carry numbers for driver are pretty off compared to expected. Either the 50k launch is off on ball speed or club speed. 77 club W 143 ball is 1.83 smash. I only bring this up because you're comparing these to that expensive system that seems to calculate wrong. Please don't take this as disrespect. Just what I noticed and was confused. Thanks!
ОтветитьBro, have any clubs you are not using anymore, for you to give it to me😅, for my to try to fix them ?
ОтветитьGood video bro!!!
ОтветитьGreat video mate. R10 is a weapon in terms of value for monney
