Airport fire engines can fight fires faster than regular city fire engines. If a car is burning in the city it can take a few minutes to hook up the hose to the pumps of the truck. so I was wondering why many cities do not have trucks remote controlled water cannons at the front.
I guess budget reasons are the cause. As firefighting equipment can be expensive.
So how do you clean up the highly toxic firefighting foam? Nice work boys!
ОтветитьNow that's a badass piece of equipment. Money well spent
ОтветитьMost such fire suppressing foams contain highly toxic and very long lived flourocarbons. Not good, especially close to water flows, wells or lakes.
ОтветитьI dtove by a car fire once. I was almost 20 feet away and the blast of heat was incredible. I can't imagine how much heat this thing was putting off.
ОтветитьNow that's effective and coordinated firefighting at it's best!
ОтветитьDependable P-19
ОтветитьDownside to getting equipment made for runways is that runways are flat, outside of airports it isn't. We had a 4000 gallon tanker on our department that we got from an airport and we have lots of hills throughout town. Uphill with it fully loaded top speed was 10-12 mph.
ОтветитьFoam works better with a power cone or fog pattern boys. That’s was an expensive extinguishment. Foam is not cheep right now.
ОтветитьWorst front cannon opp ever. Get it to the fire buddy.
ОтветитьThese guys said what!! A real fire???
Ответить"LETS GO GAGE"
ОтветитьWay too fast! Usually it takes many minutes before they get water on flames.
Ответить"Fascinating?" 🤔
ОтветитьThis is how you handle a fire. Great job 👏
ОтветитьRegen got a little too hot.
Ответитьis that a cannon on the truck?????
ОтветитьWow nice team
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьAmerican me bhi late pahuch ti hai kya firetruck 🚒
Ответить36 second mark....air brakes engaged.....38 second mark....wet stuff on red stuff....never before have I seen that efficiency on a fire ground....likely a well trained department and a kick-butt FMO behind the wheel!
ОтветитьWhat is that white stuff
ОтветитьHuh, US firefighters who actually start to fight fire as soon as they arrive: completely new for me.
Normally they start rolling hoses, look at each other, runs some more hoses and minutes later MAYBE some water starts to flow.
I am flabbergasted
what a fucking waste.. fire like this you can easly take down in like 20 seconds if you have fully trained firefighters..
ОтветитьVgghh
ОтветитьСупер вопше 👍👍👍
ОтветитьMan, every department should have an ARFF truck lol. Ton of water with a remote deck gun for limited staffing, and a quick deploy booster reel for close up work. Pretty efficient!
ОтветитьI restored those trucks in Vegas 😊
ОтветитьMove your finger pal!
ОтветитьJust curious, not critical! How was an ARFF unit even close by? Did y'all see that pump and roll action though? Whoo hoo! lol
ОтветитьTHAT, is how it is done!!!
ОтветитьThat's a great response and rapid extinguishment. I've seen many Fire fighters seem to take a lunch break after they arrive on scene before they put water on the fire
ОтветитьVvbnnnkk🎉😂
ОтветитьLove the micromanagement (sarcasm}..."pull up some". fuggin idiot.
ОтветитьNice having a separate engine running the pumps. Don't have to stop and switch PTO from tires to water pump. These newer Engines are so much more adaptable than the old ones we Volunteer Departments get stuck with ;) kudos!!
ОтветитьDope fire truck
ОтветитьNice P19
The home owners will now sue for using AFFF even though their property would have been destroyed if not used
The engineer almost hit the firefighter on the hand line. Situational awareness man.
ОтветитьI think I speak for mostly truck drivers here but why the hell didn't he pull the pin?
ОтветитьVery nice and fast but won’t they run out of water real fast?
ОтветитьEven without the foam, an over-cab-mounted water cannon would result in a quick knock-down for most fires, (rather than wait for the firefighter to finish dressing, than drag out the hose etc)
ОтветитьThat was effective pretty fast!
ОтветитьLove this.
Curious as a non-fire person...my understanding, from aviation, is that approaching a large tire from the side is very dangerous because they tend to explode sideways. Watching this video, i became nervous for a moment.
What year and make is the truck? I’m looking at one for my department, 1995 Oshkosh T-1000C. The owner can’t seem to get it to pump and roll. Were some not equipped to do that?
ОтветитьThis is so stupid just use a water truck
ОтветитьAs a firefighter/IC for over 30 years, bravo to this agency. This is a well trained, very nice operation. If you live there you are very fortunate indeed in these days of keeping and retaining staff.
ОтветитьFFS, get your hand out from in front of the camera, you freaking pine cone!
ОтветитьExcellent job, very fast and efficient. Roof Water cannons are great, as it takes time to get hoses out.
Well done guys.👏👍
Who is protecting the airport when this crew is gallivanting on a civilian call that a city engine crew SHOULD have handeled?
ОтветитьWho's protecting the airport?
