Dennis Schröder Is The PERFECT FIT For The Raptors!

I like the video man but I do think you’re overhyping Schroder a bit as a Lakers fan watching him the past couple season his playmaking vision isn’t all that great honestly it’s countless videos of Bron Or AD visibly upset with Schroder for not making the correct pass or pass at all. Also his driving game isnt all that either he can obviously make the easy open plays but he tends to get into the paint without a plan then dribble and run around until something develops which more often then not leads him to taking a contested off 1 foot layup or something of that nature. Defensive and hustle is truly the one thing I can say he’s ok at he’s definitely a certified pest on that end

Random comment but if you think about it.. skateboarding could actually translate well to basketball. Lots of precision and timing with the footwork, and you always have to be constantly adjusting and in control of your body in the air and just difficult physical movement and balance changes.

All you Raptor fans are about to begin a love/hate relationship with this guy. You'll love his defense, ability to penetrate and dish, and even finish around the rim. You'll hate his streaky outside shooting and just weird things he does on court from time to time.

He is honestly such a great addition on and off the court. I follow his German channel and he gives so many insides there and is always a selfless team player. So looking forward to this season!

Dennis is one of a kind. Stats can't tell you how much game impact he has. His acceleration and speed is NBA top. He's a team player AND leader, whatever and whenever you need. As you mentioned, he can lead a a starting PG, deliver from the bank or co-exist with every other PG. Toronto Fans will love him, so as the Lakers Nation does.
PS: He's also delivering at the FIBA World Championhips with Germany at the moment...

Schröder is a gem for sure! The development he went through both on and off the court over the last few years is insane.
To get a glimpse of what he can do and how he has grown into a true leader, just watch how Germany currently dominates the World Cup under his lead. Most consistent player throughout the tournament by far!

He didn’t gamble for an even bigger contract. His Manager was and didn’t tell Schröder. The whole thing was made up by his manager who backstabbed him.
There’s an interview where he tells his part of the story. The whole thing including the amount of money and the gambling stuff was made up by the media, because of the behavior of his manager behind dennis’s back. After that Dennis fired him.

I'm convinced that dennis is all star level but just hasn't had the chance to be the main guy to show it. On Germany he showed what he can do if he is that guy. In Toronto, it will hopefully be the same. Pascal and scottie might have something to say about it though
