Angie...I totally agree with you on this palette...I am so happy I purchased it...I almost did not make the purchase...but that little "voice" would just not stop....its whisper became a constant yelling...LOL...!!! Have you purchased the Gwen Stefani blush palette? I am eager to hear your opinion of the blushes...I have viewed several reviews...and really do not think these blushes will be right for me...but I am waiting on your review and several more of my favorite makeup gurus' review before I completely close the door on the blush palette. That was very pretty. Nice to see you with a little more eyeshadow. Still looked natural, just a little more intense. Your lashes are just stunning. Rapid lash really is working if that is what you are still using. I have started back on it because I had an allergic reaction to some eye cream and it was so bad that it even made some of my lashes fall out, and some even broke off. Hi Angie, I want to thank you for this video and for the fantastic job you did in really getting up close and showing and explaining how you apply and blend the make up. You made it nice and slow and clearly showed the brushes you used. I am 53 years old and I am always interested in seeking the best way to apply make up for an older woman who has hooded eyes and the neutral palettes is what I need.I love watching your videos, I feel I identify with you and I purchased Tight Eye because and will be purchasing this palette as well.

Now the funny thing is that when it came out I thought No don't buy it because use very little of the UD palettes that I buy but then I got forced into having to buy at my JC Penney's Sephora when I got a gift card there for Christmas and that palette was the only thing there that appealed to me at all and so I was like "oh well" and I bought it...that was last month and I want to tell you that i've used nothing else since...I LOVE this palette so much and was really curious what you would say about it ;) Hope you have a great night xoxox Mary

Seeing this review makes me wish I'd bought Gwen's eyeshadows instead of the blush palette which I'm so uncertain about. Really don't want to use it 'cause it's very glittery and I think I may want to sell it. Sigh.

Thank you for this and all your tutorials which have inspired me to keep notes in my bathroom cabinet on your skincare regimen which I have adopted to the letter. Until I discovered your site two months ago I had never made the distinction between skincare and makeup and knew not to expect any unbiased advice from any high-end brands. Only you have provided it with your unselfish efforts. I've replaced all my old eyeshadows with this Gwen Stefani palette (application notes also in cabinet), a Revlon one from one of your tutorials, and four Macs. For someone who spent years sun worshipping and scoffing at words like 'peptides' and 'exfoliation', it shows a 180 degree change in attitude for me. It's never too late to look our best without resorting to potentially dangerous surgery. I sing your praises to anyone who cares to listen.

Well after following you so long what prompted you to buy this as you are so matte smart!! Lol. It seems when I venture out and use the shimmers absolutely nothing keeps the creepiness away? Is it the double primer? It looks great on you here. Does the crepiness creep in? I am same age as you with similar color. Can you elaborate it maybe do yet another video about how you got this to maintain its look. Don't mean to be annoying. Just need detailed tips as I want to wear a shimmer or satin without all the mini wrinkles showing. Lol you are gorgeous and give great tips. Thanks for sharing

I've never seen you look more beautiful. Wow! I'm going to get this palette. I have hooded eyes too and I'm 52. I never wore anything other than mascara (white blonde lashes-all my life) until the last 10 years. Aging is the pits.

Very pretty look. I have some bright green and purple shadow shimmer sticks I got on sale but then wondered what the heck I would do with them. Seeing you layer the bright blue over Serious grayr at the outer corner gave me an idea. I'm wondering how you can put powder shadow so close or even on your waterline without getting grit in your eyes, especially if you wear contact lenses.

I like this hairstyle the best on you so far. I think in another video you said you twisted your hair while wet and pinned it up to dry.

I read reviews on GS lipstick, ex-girlfriend, most complaints are its lacking in color and is to sheer. Your lips wearing ex-girlfriend are very colorful - did you use a lip pencil underneath?? If so, please share what color pencil you used and are the lips fully lined? Very pretty on you! Thanks! 💄

Nice tutorial - too many colors I may not use.  I just purchased two palettes this weekend. One with darker colors for evening more bold look and one with mostly nude rose colors that I can wear daily to work.  That makes two more too many - lol.  I love the tutorials because sometimes I mix colors from two different palettes.

So glad to have stumbled across your review of this palette, Angie! I keep looking at this one (along with my 20 year old daughter..we can share:) Of course, the matte colors catch my eye. When I read Cindy Joseph's beauty tips for us over a
certain age, she says not to wear any eye shadow at all! I'm not quite there yet and am glad to see it can be done and still look beautiful, subtle and polished:)
