The Disney numbers don’t bother me because I can’t afford to cruise with them anyway. We love Princess and will continue to cruise with them as often as possible.

😢😢Carnival has really went DOWN. They use to be the most Cruise Ship's that we went on BUT NEVER EVER again. A Cruise is where when you go you relax, have fun, enjoy your special time not to go and have WILD PARTIES & FIGHTING, BREAKING TABLES, CHAIRS, DISHES, GLASSES AND HURTING PEOPLE. AND MORE. WE WILL NEVER EVER GO ON CARNIVAL CRUISE SHIPS AGAIN. It USE TO BE A GREAT CRUISE LINE BUT NOT ANYMORE so I have nothing good to say about Carnival Cruise except it USE TO BE GREAT.

We just got back from a Disney cruise and while we felt safe, we were on an excursion with some others who didn’t really seem to have a safe handle on their children. Our tour guide had to say something to them several times. 😮

Great report and great insight, as usual. As far as the incident report goes, I think we really need to know more about the incidents to form an opinion—at least the types of things included in each category. I love your channel!

Gee, the Disney line is the worst, who would have suspected. Do not bring children on Disney.

I will still cruise because anything can happen in or out of your home. That being said, i have to say my jaw dropped on alot of these listings. We have been on 3 cruises and all of them have been on Carnival cruise ships. I have seen a fight or 2 on each cruise. It involved alcohol each time or kids acting out. Carnival takes care of the sistuation quickly. My husband and i just walked away and went to another area. These situations have nothing to do with Carnival. Adults are the issue. They drink too much and dont take care of their children. I was shocked by the Disney incident report especially. Thank you for the news and update.

I’m actually horrified at the stats for Disney 😳 not to say I expect it from others, but when you think of Disney from the others…yeah I’m shocked!! Now I did an NCL cruise in Nov-Dec and was quite pleased with the level of discretion, respect, apprehension and the removal of fighting passengers that took place one night due to drunkenness!! However, felt bad for those that were removed just because they were traveling with the ones that caused the trouble but highly respect the decision as well. 😢

They need to do a background check on anyone 18 years and over! People with domestic violence and other assaults convictions shouldn't be allowed to cruise.

as someone who just started cruising and will be going on ccl i was ready to cancel it but one reason i will still go is the fact things can happen on any ship its sad that others got hurt and some passed away i just always pray for each and everyone safety 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Have NEVER and will NEVER cruise on Carnival! NEVER been on a Disney cruise either, and DON’T plan on going on one either! LOVE LOVE LOVE Celebrity!

In my opinion and observation most of these incidents occur when alcohol is involved

I am surprised that there is no information included regarding people who go overboard. What about the gentleman, Kevin, who disappeared earlier in the year? What about all the other people who went overboard and were never found? Seems like there were a lot of those this year.

They wont give details because there's a common denominator to all of these incidents.

I would like to know what the average per ship would be across all the cruiselines. You gave Disney average but no other line based on number of ships they have.

Considering how many ships Carnival has, when you break it down, the incidents aren't that many. I have never been on a cruise where one of these incidents has taken place. I have been on 15 cruises. There have been three cruises where someone has passed away. One was a drowning at a private island, but it was not considered suspicious.

I'm with you, I wish these numbers were all zero.

In the grand scheme of things, cruising is very safe.

All the same things apply to us on a cruise as they do on dry land: be vigilant, don't get too drunk you aren't in control of yourself, keep your head on a swivel.

As a female, this is pretty much how we have to live our day-to-day lives anyways.

I would like to know three things,
1. With each cruise line, how many incidents per ship?
2. With each cruise line, how many Incidents per passenger?
3. Do the larger ships have a higher number of incidents?

Well since Costa killed 27 passengers and 5 crew, I think they have to be #1.

I would be interested in knowing the percentages of incidents per how many people traveled on said cruise line. That, to me would be more accurate, and probably much fairer to Carnival.

I don't know if someone earlier mentioned this, but I would think the average age of passengers might also enter into the calculation. Carnival attacks a much younger crowd than say, Princess. Disney would also likely be attracting young parents, vs a line with adults only like Virgin. Just my thoughts - your milage may vary.....

As much as I’d love to pick on Carnival, this really isn’t a cruise line problem as much as it is a societal problem.

Was Holland America free of any crimes or are theirs included with Carnival?

I have a question: what do you think the reasoning is behind the $10,000 theft threshold? What does that even mean? Why that number? It makes me think the number is so high as to lower the # of incidents.

Carnival is my favorite cruise line, but however listening to this is got me a little nervous but on the flip side of this I am glad that this is reported so we can have some insight of the ships, just maybe things for Carnival will tighten up on some things out their. Jason said overall things are pretty safe.
