I checked the video playback speed several times to check if it was not on 1.5..

What he did through the pool section is outstanding.
It reminds me of people describing Senna going through the corners as if he was creating an illusion of cutting through the guardrails.
And it is exactly how it felt watching Max going through the pool section.
That is on the edge of disaster, very difficult.
Probably one of the best laps he ever did, and maybe in the history as a whole.

People can love him or hate him but today he has no equal.

I've never seen a car that close to the walls without crashing!

It's odd to see that a brilliant lap is made more by leaving the throttle fully closed than to push it open in certain spots of the track. I would probably try to speed up more and wreck it though.
