ОтветитьAmazing tutorial! I remember it worked perfectly last time, however this time I'm having difficulties, when I paint in the selected area to get the hair back, the hair has transparency compared to the original area. Foreground color is white, brush opacity and flow is 100%. Why is this happening?
ОтветитьGod bless you
Ответитьany idea why when i go back to layers, and enable the layer mask, screen turns red? i did not click Q
ОтветитьWhat is the best option to select only hairs in the first image? If I try to select it, it also selects the coat around those hairs.
ОтветитьYou sound so well though you were not feeling well. Your passion shines through.Thank you.
Ответитьthis only works if you have a very flat background
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! But in most cases Wacom tablet saves my time. After extracting hairs with channels I just draw or smudge them) And one more thing, in real life you often have to select hairs from the same background as hair color, not studio shots.
ОтветитьBro what when the background had the same color (contrast) of hairs ?
ОтветитьWow, the best video ever!!!
Ответитьfantastic
ОтветитьI am seriously stuck at the step where you paint. Even though I've selected the foreground color as white, the selected hair doesn't appear inside the selection like it does in this video. It paints nothing. Don't know where I'm going wrong. Please help!
ОтветитьI wish I found your channel earlier! I have been wasting so much time doing things the hard way!
ОтветитьQ: on my iMac Com H hides the application and not the mask..!? any idea's why it doesn't hide the selection??
Thanks in advance
Rich
Will stay tuned to your channal! Cheers!
Ответитьhanks lot Sir.. You helping us..
ОтветитьYour tutorials are incredibly useful and even quite charming.
ОтветитьTry to speak slowly
ОтветитьTooo fast
Ответитьthis was absolutely not me trying to put black hair over a black background before realizing that no amount of detail will make it look better...
ОтветитьYou are the best detailed Person as far i have seen ..... Thank You So Much BIG beloved Brother
ОтветитьWell done. I have been clipping hair for a very long time and while my masks are tight, the fringe could present a problem. Thank you for not choosing the most user friendly photo of hair to use for your tutorial.
Ответитьget to the fucking point
ОтветитьIt's super useful,thanks!
ОтветитьSir, my history brush tool is not working on mask layer and only showing massaging me could not use the history brush because the history state does not contain a corresponding layer?
Plz help me...
You're making the video unnecessarily long, my friend. Have you ever tried to talk less?
ОтветитьKlasse! Aber umständlich! 😉
Ответитьman im not sure what im doing wrong. i have the selection. but whenever i go to paint, it just paints over the whole image as if there is no selection at all. it just paints both inside and outside of the marching ants. anyone have the same problem?
ОтветитьSo easy, yet so effective, I love it.
ОтветитьYou can also use the density tool (O) to darken/lighten the background on your channel layer localy. In an other method you can merge channels each others (Alt+i+p) its works well. Greatings from france
Ответитьsir this is to much help full
Ответитьvery very nice tutorial I have ever seen.
ОтветитьOh may gods
Tks sis ⚘⚘⚘
Thank you so much for your depth explanations
ОтветитьIt's too lengthy and difficult to me
ОтветитьAwesome, thank you very much!
ОтветитьThis is very cool! I followed the steps and got a great photo 🥰
ОтветитьHope It Will Help You. I Point Out the Major Things.
>>> The Fist Method. <<<
1. Create new layer.
2. Select main body & mass hair with quick selection.
3. Make mask and a solid color adjustment layer.
Turn of the mask.
>>> Work Started <<<
4. By selecting the subject layer go to channels and find out right color (RGB).
5. After finding the desired color make a copy of it and open the LAVEL panel. Make the background black or the object and vice versa. (For particular area choose Lasso tool + Feather + Level)
6. Now select the white area by CONTROL + CLICK.
7. Now take a brush and draw over the hair border side while selected in mask.
8. Click (ALT+CLICK) over the mask and do some more adjustment. (Lastly Blur out the object boundary)
>>> The Fringes <<<
9. Now change the background color (solid adjustment color layer) to see the Fringes. Create a new layer with the name of Fringes and make clipping mask.
9.1 (***Choose the idropper tool and in the toolbar sample size will be <3 by 3 average> and sample will be <Current & Below.>)
10. Now take a brush, sample the color and paint just the boundary side of the hair. Not the middle area.
11. On the middle area use the clone stam tool. (While Fringes layer Selected.) (also make sure the sample is selected to Cureent and Below.)
12. If some area need to be erased then go to the mask and earesd it with paint tool.
13. Now once these done delete the color adjustment layer and put the new background layer (Where you want to set the image).
>>> Curve Adjustment Layer. <<<
14. Now Selct the fringes layer and create a curve adjustment layer and make it clipping mask. (adjust it with your desire)
15. If the edges doesn't looking right then simply Blur it while the selection on mask.
[Smooth edges Tips: {While selcting Mask} (Laso tool+ Filter+ Goushon Blur) + (Image+ Adjustment+ Brightness-Contrast), You can also move the edges by selecting it.]
>>> Conclusion <<<
16. Group the all three layer (the subject layer, the fringes layer and the adjustment curve layer.)
17. If some provlem see in the hair edges then apply the NO.10 method again.
18. In the last you can use some filter option for blending more.
19. [Selection rotation Tips: Hold {ALT+ SHIFT} and rotate it with arow key (<>).]
Daaaaang! I'm a photo manipulation noob and I just learned how to use quick masking, but I didn't know this was even possible. That's some sorcery right there. Awesome stuff!
Ответитьgreat
