Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition + Desmosedici V4

I love that Tricolore paint scheme. Incidentally, I saw an 1199 Superlegerra once at a dealer that was closing its doors and blowing out their bikes. I want to say it was around $30K with maybe 1-2K miles on it and a full spares kit with race exhaust, extra parts, and such. I stood there for a while and considered cashing in my retirement, lol. I ended up buying a Tuono 1100RR somewhere else, and I still have my retirement account. :D

I love it when you hear the brilliant comments and love for the desmocedici, even having the two tyres different sizes makes it special, great video

One thing i hate to see is them wrecking the rear tyre plus all the stone chips flying all over the bike, but it would take a lot of damage to ruin the looks of the stunning desmocedici.

I’m a 58 year old man and waiting for some operations on my hands this year hopefully, so next spring I will be 59 , I haven’t ridden a road bike since 1985 when I bought a Kawasaki gpz 600r , but I have always said I want a Ducati before I die and I want a panigale 1299 s a 2017 model , am I being stupid in hoping to get one after such a long time off , I will only be plodding along and admiring it lol

Final edition r v2 with the full system sounds epic. Not many of them about however. Was a £5k upgrade at the time.

If you told me I could have any motorcycle ever made, it would be the Desmo. More advanced motorcycles be damned, that bike is what motorcycling is all about.

I can’t believe he made the comment it’s the same engine as the 1299 Superleggera 😂😂 “well basically” really?? The 1299SL has 11HP more with the race Ark exhaust. 11hp on 365lbs . I don’t know of anyone that’s bought a 1299SL and not put the race exhaust on it.

Just bought a 2015 Ducati Panigale R. I have to say it's quite calm compared to my 2004 zx10r. That thing was nuts. Power wheelie everywhere and no electronics at all. This seems tame in comparison.

By the way the R1 is a fantastic bike, predictable power and has really built my confidence. Am I making a bad decision?
