No, he is NOT reacting to "AI art" in that video, don't misrepresent things. He was reacting to a computer simulation of movement, which had zombie ragdolls flopping around in a computer simulation, in a way that disturbed him and made him think it was insensitive to disabled people. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with current AI art, the clip is from years before it even existed!

Isnt this the same group who made mockups of corpses for him that he didnt ask for, and he reamed them for making senselessly violent art for no reason and insulting life? This seems like that clip, not about AI per say. Just CGI zombies

These comments show me some people don’t even know what ai is and just use it as a buzz word for bullshit and attention (kinda like the news who also are misinforming these same people) also I feel people are so close-minded and that will never change when something new is coming like people who draw and paint said that PHOTOGRAPHY WILL END ALL PAINTERS AND WILL DESTROY ART…..I think it’s the same with ai people not truly understanding and lending that lack of understanding to fear and that’s what pains me is the overall lack of understanding leading to fear which makes people AND ARTIST extremely paranoid,uninformed, and radicalized to new ideas which goes against the very thing we love which is art🫶🏾 just as much a photography didn’t end drawing and painting and digital art didn’t end anything this is the same just more art and new ideas and another form of self expression

What isn’t shown in this shorts is what he meant when he said about the world going to end. When he heard that those guys wanted to make ai that can make art like people, he heard it as humanity that has lost faith in themselves.

I don't know why we wanna replace a hobby we actually enjoy doing. Like why what would be the whole point in the end. And many artist would suffer because of this

If ai can make an anime with just manga panels,that would be so amazing. No more mappa slaving animators. And maybe the time needed for making that would be lower,it will have better animation and less budget.
