I first heard Hughes in ‘73 when he joined DP.
Never heard him this early on.
Brings Paul Rogers to mind and not just s little.
Always wanted him to collaborate with Trower…
Saw them twice, 72 & 73 @ the shell in Memphis. One of the best 3 piece bands WOW. Glenn's voice was explosive, Mel became one with his guitar, Dave steady with leading the beat. A great time to be alive with such great artists
ОтветитьThreshold, them moody blues too…🎶💙
ОтветитьSolos great mel galley R.i.p 🔥❤️
Ответитьi was there
ОтветитьLasciate perdere si perdono solo soldi e anche tempo
ОтветитьSounds like a free clone
Ответитьtakes me back to the 70s when I was in high school. sweet song, sweet times.....
ОтветитьMy mother actually bought me this album when i was about 14😊
ОтветитьNo time to think of the things i was missing.
Looking thru the sunshine for my judgement day still. Peace from central Texas.
No more black cloud people.
Still blasting this gem in 2023 spring / summer absolutely killer band
ОтветитьGreat song ...John Bonham took many pics with Trapeze .
ОтветитьA staple with my buddies back in the 70's. Played daily along with J. Geils Full House, Mountain climbing, Black Sabbath Paranoid, Savoy Brown Street Corner Talking. Still is in my home today.
ОтветитьBeen listening to them for 40 years.. simply brilliant
ОтветитьAlmost sounds like they had that snare drum miked from across the room.
ОтветитьGlenn Hughes is one of Rock's greatest vocalists. From Trapeze to Deep Purple and Black Country Communion, there are only a handful that belong in this class and have done it over multiple decades.
ОтветитьWonder where Temperance Movement got their inspiration from?
ОтветитьMedusa, what an Album.
Ответитьkid rock needs to remake this ...would be a hit
ОтветитьThank you to my late husband for introducing me to this band, I will listen and cherish until we meet again my love
ОтветитьGlenn can still hit these notes at 70
ОтветитьHad to listen to some Trapeze
ОтветитьSo... Why the f:$% doesn't The Dead Daisies kick this!
ОтветитьLoved it the first time I heard it in High School I’m 67 and it still just KICKS ASS…it’s “Balls to the Wall Rock-n-Roll” as I like to call it…! RnR is not dead, and will NEVER die….!
ОтветитьRobin trower escucha a Mel galley elegante
ОтветитьSaw them open for kiss in 75
ОтветитьNice.
Thanks for posting this cool song
Memphis … Overton Park She’ll … fantastic show .. loud as hell .. oh yeah , the seventies!!!!🤩
ОтветитьThe Blues at their best 😎
ОтветитьMore cowbell !
ОтветитьGlenn listened to grooves in Free lps that weren't audible to the human ear. Glenn best kept secret ever.
ОтветитьDoesn't get much better.
Ответитьsome day Glenn Hughes will no longer be a kick ass rock n roll giant....but not this day.
ОтветитьSaw the trio open up for the Moody Blues in Kansas City, MO, 1970 or 71. Unfamiliar with the record, they were just a heavy metal trio, lots of riff-rock. Obviously didn't impress me enough to buy the record among the many to choose from at the time. Nice to hear this though - never would have remembered the vocalist being such a Steve Marriott-type badass.
ОтветитьKiller Song
ОтветитьGreat choice! I saw them in Fayetteville Arkansas around 1972
ОтветитьFirst time I heard this I thought it was Steve Marriott and Humble Pie boy was I wrong.
ОтветитьTrapeze...los escuché allá por los 80 s .. excelente grupo..
ОтветитьFree and Bad Co comes to mind for some reason....maybe Nazareth lol.
Ответитьmine also--, the red lebanese hash helped-lol
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьI heard this song on station k p f t Houston TX 3 weeks ago love it
ОтветитьHow many people on here from San Antonio and used to rock out on this listening to Joe Anthony?
ОтветитьI "discovered" this band in the later 70's at a yard sale. ✌
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьA late great dear friend of mine Kelly Holland was a huge fan of Glen Hughes. He always said if he could sing like him, he would die a happy man. He came Damn close! Real damn close!
ОтветитьTrolls world tour brought me 😂💅
ОтветитьKISS FM San Antonio Joe Anthony n Lou Roney
ОтветитьIs the cover artwork a picture by Umberto Boccioni?
