in place where I from we use a phase "to add the fuel to the fire" differently, we usually say "do not add the oil to the fire".

I was very surprised or almost stunned when I heard the phrase "cold hands - warm heart." It's incredible how people living in different countries and cultures use the same saying.

I smiled when you said you have cold hands and it means a warm heart, because I feel I am the same, plus my feet are also very cold, my mum calls them "frog feet", so I always wear a fluffy, warm socks on them, in every season except very hot weather.
